Gotham 13.0: German keyboard layout? - Protheon - 2014-05-18

Using the following command to enable german keyboard layout always used to work:

setxkbmap -display :0 de

Now I get the following error messages:

Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyCannot open display ":0"
(when I have exited XBMC)

Code:
No protocol specified
Cannot open display ":0"
(when XBMC is running)

Any help is appreciated.

it worked for me (fr) with xbmcbuntu 14.04 gotham i386
