Jumpy frame rate - lokipoki - 2014-05-21

Hi.

I'm running xbmc 13 and some basketball games with fixed fps. But the picture jitters ugly. When I press info I can see how the fps go up and down. I also can see that buffer jumps as well. My computer is strong and runs nothing but xbmc.

Any idea what could cause the jitters?!

Cheers.

Sounds like your computer is frighten that something might happen at 3AM when all the smart people are getting their rems.

Seriously, you need to appeal to the 3rd party add-on author or his forum for the fix.

The Basketball games I watch are in mkv format. Why would I appeal 3rd party?!

RE: Jumpy frame rate - madjockxbmc - 2014-05-31

The Mkvs must have come from a third party, could it not just be them ?

RE: Jumpy frame rate - lokipoki - 2014-06-01

So you saying it is the mkvs?!

RE: Jumpy frame rate - madjockxbmc - 2014-06-01

Well you could clarify it better I suppose, are any of your other Mkvs acting up, have you tried them with another media player ?
