Ignore articles - davematt0709 - 2014-05-21
Hi guys. I have "Ignore articles when sorting (e.g. "the")" enabled. However, although it says "e.g the", it appears that this is the only article that is ignored. All film starting with an "A" for example "A Perfect Murder" appear under "A" rather than "P". In addition I have a number of foreign language films in French, Spanish and German language, with titles sorted in original language. I would like the articles for these languages (e.g. le, la, les, el, l') to also be ignored. Is it possible to do this? If not I am not sure there is any point in ignoring "The" when all other articles are not ignored, in which case I will switch this feature off. Thanks.

You'll need to create an advancedsettings.xml file and use the sorttoken option.

Just to confirm pkscuot that your links worked well. All my movies are now sorted ignoring articles. Many thanks.
