What system you're using? You can use another machine to enter the code. It musn't be the same.

If you want to play the whole playlist, just navigate into one, call the context menu and select 'play all' after that you will be asked in which order you want to play the playlist.
Thanks for the info and the great product.

I'm not a programmer, but you can mark local videos as watched. It shouldn't be that different to mark YouTube videos as watched localy to? Or am I totaly out in the blue now? Big Grin
Yes Rolleyes thus won't work because this function is only available if a movie belongs to some kind of database. But these are non-persistent streams. So kodi won't let you mark them as watched.

Ah! I see. Thanks for the reply! Smile

RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - PSYCHOUT - 2015-03-19

My system auto upgraded from YouTube 4.4.10 to 5.0.1, 4.4.10 is still available as a rollback option. The problem I am having is that I am not seeing the activation code when I try to sign in to version 5.0.1 ~ I get the message box telling me to enter the following code, but no code appears. I understand this is a skin problem, I am using Confluence.

I have recently received an Android M8 box but having major problems with the update YouTube that's is on the Kodi 14.0. (Update 5.09?)

When I click on the youtube on Kodi it comes up with 'log-in' failed .... as does all of the youtube links installed.

How do I get into the root directory to enter sing-in details etc please (as explain by bromix on page one of this top).

Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Can you send me a debug log (wiki) there shouldn't be a problem with the confluence skin - only if you're using a MOD.

HuhHuh 343 Addons !?!?!??!?! over 80 Repositories ?!?!? it's almost impossible for me to read the debug log because every few lines some repos is checked for an update.
Try to unisntall an reinstall the addon. But before installing it again delete all data under the userdata/addondata/plugin.video.youtube folder.

Apologies .... Blush This is how the M8 andorid box came with when I recenlty bought it and I was unaware of how many Addons/Repositories. I will try and follow your instructions although I have tried a few times to delete the YouTube add-on but it will not allow me to, hence the initial enquiry - your help and advice is very much appreciated Wink and I will post more info when I have tried your suggestions.

Is 1080p impossible or something? Google blocking that on the API or what?

Okay...found the bug... Sad I use the call of YouTube TV for updating the History...it isn't working for YouTube TV and therefore also not for the addon. I hope they will fix this...because here is nothing a can do Sad

It would seem this issue has been resolved. I am now getting videos played within Kodi showing in my history feed, in the add-on, on the web and in the mobile app.
