"No Help" - TheCriticVII - 2014-07-31 There were 109 views and 1 answer post. I can't even get to that because it was several days ago and clicking on poster username does nothing. Stupid xbmc is locking me out I do not remember setting a master code. Well now I need to reset. A new download of the platform does nothing and I can't seem to wipe away all traces of previous incarnation. I need to know how to reset a master code. Sorry, I couldn't resist First you need to find the userdata (wiki) directory. It differs per OS. Once you are in the userdata (wiki) directory, edit guisettings.xml (wiki) and change the startuplock tag: Code: <startuplock default="true">false</startuplock> If it is not the master lock, but the profile lock, then edit the profiles.xml (wiki) file in the same directory and for the particular profile change the lockmode and lockcode tags: Code: <lockmode>0</lockmode> |
