@kraades & twelvebore: Yeah I agree, option 2 is probably the best, but I don't dislike option 3 too if used correctly, like the vimeo logo, the V is both the logo and part of the text, and it works.

Just wanted to try this font I've been working on using the golden ratio thing, to me it looks well balanced and appealing.

Unfortunately he's right. As XBMC has a large community in germany, I do not understand why they chose that name. "Kodi" stands for a cheap discount supermarket, such as "Aldi" (see http://www.kodi.de) while "XBMC" was unique.

First, the talent expressed in this thread is simply amazing! It's so hard to pick one favorite, but I was struck by the origami idea if only to recognize the transformation/evolution from xbmc. I think an animation from a folded letter X opening up to form the K would be very creative indeed...
