I've just scrolled through every page in this thread, and honestly, of all logos posted here, any of these ones above (or mine, of course) are just miles ahead in my opinion (great effort from everyone though). Clean, modern, not cluttered, perhaps missing a more unique symbol and in need of a bit more work on the alignment. Great job farshadkabiri!

Just trying different backgrounds to perfectly balance the colors.
I think this logo works very well on any background color, without the need to add shadows, strokes, etc. Smile

Let's see how it looks on a dark bg.

@Tinwarble try with less gradients - those could be trouble some (or at least look bad) in small scale printing

I think the the "K" has enough character to where it could be used singularly for icon applications. I'm going for a more mature look which I think Kodi now deserves.

This of course is just a concept and the colors are not what I would use.

Don't use K letter alone. It is already used by KDE (K Desktop Environment). It would introduce a lot of unnecessary confusion.
