The addon has its repository on the first page of this thread.
@enen92 please excuse us. I just asked how to launch AceStream engine during system boot on OpenELEC.

Hi enen!

Can you update such link to the 1.0.4 version of the repository please? Actually it doesn't work...

Have a nice weekend!

I have an Android TV box with XBMC.

I have installed the P2P streams addon and the acestreams engine to run in the background.

I have loaded the Website Parsers however it wont load any Acestreams.

It just says downloading and does nothing.

I have followed the steps on tutorials on youtube but i still have no luck.

What could i be doing wrong?

I had exact same problem and you need to watch vdubt25 tutorial on YouTube from about a weekor so ago. Follow it to the letter and it will work.....honest.

Hi guys,

I am using an MX2 box and I get constant buffering when using the Acestreams particularly if say watching SS1 etc when the footy is on. I have deleted the 'purge packets' and I have set the cache to zero....yet it still buffers every few seconds. Can anyone advise as to what settings are best for the MX2 box for watching smooth Acestreams? I also have 40mb of download speed....so hopefully that should not be the issue.

Many thanks

Darren

Few things to check...port forwarding on your router, port 8621 I think it is, look in the wiki to be sure.
Make sure you import the advanced settings.xml, that can solve buffering issues as well.
Upload speeds and more importantly throttling/traffic shaping play an important part as well, u can use the glasnost test (Google it) to detect if your ISP is choking your p2p.
Also mate, don't mention channels/parsers in this forum.

Sorry enen92, How you add the panel named "Acestream Engine" to the DVDPlayer? I referer the download information panel appears in the DVDPlayer?

I'm developing something like this panel.

Thanks.

RE: P2P-Streams - SopCast and AceStream for Kodi - enen92 - 2015-01-19

You can't add anything to dvd player, that "dialog" is just some controlers that are added to the actual active window id. See here for explanation:

http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=212811

Note parts of this code (namely the json rpc stuff to get the active window id) can probably be optimized by using only the python api.
