Try to login on forum.kodi.tv
It accepts login, show "You have successfully been logged in"
but after that show guest forum with "Hello There, Guest! " header

This is just a guess on my part, but probably just the way it handles the cookie file. The new URL points to the same place, but the cookie file looks at it and says "but this is for xbmc.org and not kodi.tv".
Once the site is fully "transferred over" then it probably won't be an issue. People will likely need to re-login, but the cookie file will be made for the kodi.tv domain name.

indeed - cookie should still be created for .xbmc.org - so wait a bit with using forum.kodi.tv until the transfer is complete. Thanks.
