Hi,
just a first look: maybe a bug... the custom selected Picturues/ Icons in the media shelf won`t be shown. The Shelf is all empty

Is the problem where a menu item is highlighted but it shows the submenu from a different menu item? If so then this is happeing on my Windows 7 with RC2.

Maybe. Any chance you could post a screenshot and describe how to reproduce error? This has never happen to me so I'm clueless where to look.

Think it may have been with me touching the touchpad on my netbook and taking the menu/submenu out of sync, wouldn't have happened on my htpc!

This may happen with mouse, yes. Mouse/Touch is not recommended. It will work, but things like what you see may happen.
You would actually should hoover over Main Bar when using mouse.
Please let me know if happens with remote/keyboard.

This happened to me when I first upgraded. I had to disable and re-enable the skin and all was ok. Hope this helps.
I have an issue with the variables. Headings and plots etc simply show as $varGlobalHeadings or $varPlots. If anyone has come across this and can help me out it'd be appreciated.

You need to run XBMC Eden. VARs will go away as soon as you upgrade to newer version of XBMC.

Solved many issues and opened me up to new features. I hadn't realised I'd become 12 months out of date with my software, doh.
I'm a big apple fan boy, I have my iPad, iPhone and MacBook. I very nearly purchased the aTV but could not get over its limitations. Your skin gives me everything I wanted and more on my current HTPC. Thanks a million dude, your my hero!

Firstly I have to say that the skin is now so similar to the ATV interface that I have to check to see if I'm in XBMC or not. Well done.
Just a couple of observations :
1) The view in the Movie library that began with the cover art covering the left half of the screen initially before making it shrink to the top quarter and uncovering the movie synopsis doesn't seem to exist any more. Maybe I'm missing something or the animation was removed deliberately.
2) On the ATV when you select the default action for the Quit menu item it still stays displayed as being set to "menu" on the Quartz setting page, even if you have changed it to quit.
