Is It possible to save my xbmc files when I need to reinstall windows? - KingKeno - 2014-10-25

I need to upgrade my hardware so I need to reinstall Windows 7.
I run XBMC 13.2 and have a lot of movies and series "loaded" in XBMC.
My question: Is there anyway to save what I have loaded in XBMC so when I install it back
on my new computer and windows I can load the save file and restore my XBMC?

save a copy of %APPDATA%\XBMC\userdata or %APPDATA%\Kodi\userdata (if using helix).

when you do a re-install, make sure all your drive letters etc are the same as they were before, then copy that back to the same location.

See backup (wiki) for some additional methods.
