Hello i want to add a tv show that I have on my hdd to my xbmc tv shows but when I scan it using a scrapper it's not recognised,so what I want to know is how can I add my tv show without using a scrapper and I can just add my own artwork etc ?

I think that's due to the naming of your files. Could you post an example of such a filename?

That's just an example.
I think because I have extras for all my stories it's stopping the scrapers naming it properly.That is why I wanted to add it to my tv shows without using a scraper.

I mean the exact filename of an epsiode.
When I used the TheTVDB scraper for the first time (a smb share containing recordings of my STB), i couldn't get any result due to of wrong naming of the files, f.i:
20141008 - Under the Dome.ts for Season 1, Episode 1
20141008 - Under the Dome_001.ts for Season 1, Episode 2 and so on ..
I renamed the files:
Under the Dome_s01e01.ts
Under the Dome_s01e02.ts
and also the folder names:
Series/Under the Dome/...
That works perfectly for me!

Maybe by using NFO files. But I haven't tested that on my own.

You have to create them and put them into the folders.

Be a lot easier to use the Renamer.

You have to create a textfile and rename it to f.i. "tvshow.nfo".
But, as Hitcher wrote, renaming would be far easier.

This is driving me nuts.
Right this is what I have
Doctor who/
Season 1
Season 2
Right to season 26
Then in each season are about 6 more folders which contain 4 eps and extras
I want to create 1 nfo for the entire collection please help?

etc
Doctor Who (year)/season 1/extras/filename.ext
The year is important.
