RAPIER 7.9.0 FOR Kodi 14.x HELIX (12-FEBRUARY-2016)
Available through official Kodi repository!
As we are getting very close to the release of Kodi 16 Jarvis, this will be the final version for Kodi 14 Helix.
If you haven't done so already, I strongly encourage you to update to Kodi 15 Isengard or Kodi 16 Jarvis!
The first post will always be updated with the latest information and changelog.
If you have any problems or find any bugs, please let me know right away.
Also, if you have features, ideas, designs etc. you would like added, I'll be more than happy to help.
You can always follow latest development, download uncompressed textures etc. on Github.
You can manually install my repository to automatically receive the newest development updates. You will still receive the official updates.

Got Helix and the new Rapier installed and am starting to add all the media back.
After reading your message about the movie sets, I was thinking maybe it wasn't working because I was using custom set names made in Ember with nfo files. I wasn't really liking all the "collections" and "series" after everything, so I was using Ember to make custom names. I also have a lot of OLD movie series and wasn't sure if they would be there. I had also turned off the get movie set name option in the Universal Movie Scraper.
So, I turned on the UMS set names and told Ember to use TMDB for set info when installing Helix. I saw new sets that the scraper had made, but the view still only shows posters. I tried putting the script in the main addons folder and the userdata/addons folder. I tried taking the "-master" off of the end of the script name in both locations. It just always shows posters.
Maybe using Ember and nfo files for movies is messing it up with different file names? Was just trying to think of what would be different about my setup from yours. (I can't figure out Phil's script for extra actor info either. I click on an actor and I only get a local library search. No biography screen like I saw in his thread. So I'm clearly doing something wrong with all this.)
Just curious here since I can't figure out Phil's scripts... Would it take much for me to create a little window in the top set screen to show a text field from an nfo file? Ember now saves nfo files for movie sets. Was thinking maybe I could just modify that screen to just show a few lines of text if it isn't too hard.
Really though, it isn't a big deal if I can't get the scripts working. I'm starting to feel bad you're spending so much time trying to fix this for me. It would be nice for a little background info on each series to go along with the poster, but just the poster if good enough for me.
Here is what I'm seeing. (The ones with Series or Collection at the end were newly made by the scraper.)

Figured I would try one more thing before giving up on the scripts. I deleted my movie source and added a test source with just the 4 Alien movies with NO nfo files. The scraper made the set, but it still just showed the poster.
I was looking around and found this discrepancy. Not sure if this means anything or not.
In the Program Add-ons section, there is an icon for the Skin Info Service. I open that and it says it is disabled.
But when I go to the main Add-on screen and look at the enabled add-ons, it says it is enabled.
I have no idea what is going on now. I installed it from the zip file to make sure it was loaded correctly.

No need to give up on the scripts - we'll make it work
Sometimes the add-ons and repository get a little crazy right after an update. Try to do a force refresh of the Kodi Add-on repository (from the context menu). Wait until it finishes and restart Kodi.
Did this enable the add-ons?
Regarding Rapier, the movie sets info from script.skin.info.service is only working in the regular movies view (when "Group movies in sets" is enabled).
I can see from your screenshot, that you use the movie sets window and that's why you don't see any info. The movie sets window only let's you choose between Icon View and List View and they don't offer any info from the script at all.
Today I have added the appropiate views for the movie sets window and that provides the extra info.
After force refreshing the repo, try installing this update of Rapier. This has all the new views for the movie set window. When you select another view than Icon View or List View, you should get all the set info.
Hope this clear most things up

You did it again Gade. The new update fixed it. You were right. I only had 2 movie set views. The problem was I had no idea how the script was supposed to work so I didn't know it needed a specific view.
Got them all now and they look great. Nice to see the movie set fan art now.
Looks like the script is working now that the views are there. I'm seeing the scrolling plots in the window and it is listing all the movie years. And it even seems to works fine with the custom set names from Ember too.
Everything looks so good now.
I did want to say that you're doing a great job of supporting the new scripts and add-ons, like this one and Video Extras, without letting all the bloatware creep in. The different Nox's are great skins, but they just keep adding and adding and it is a bit too much for me. (Like all the spinning disks flying all over the screen and stuff like that.) Love how Rapier is still keeping it simple and clean. (And the Extras menu on the main screen. Nox was driving me crazy having it buried in the "+" menu.
Thanks again for all the help. I think I'm finally done tinkering with Kodi and can start watching some movies.

If you wish to fix this issue before next release, you need to manually install script.toolbox using this link.

I need a little more info than that.
Which version of XBMC/Kodi do you use and which version of the skin?
Have you changed anything in the skin settings?
Do you have a settings and a skin settings button in the Shutdown Menu (pressing "S")?
In Videos, Music, Pictures and Programs you have a top options menubar. If it is hidden, you can press left from most views and that will get you to it (in some views you have to press up). In this menubar, you have a power button to the left and this will bring up the Shutdown Menu. To the right in most views is a settings button.
Another thing you can do is delete your guisettings.xml file. This will reset the skin settings, but this will also reset all other settings - so be careful doing this. The guisettings.xml file can be found in your userdata folder.
