That is a valid point! Perhaps its worth having this overlay come up only when you press info when playing a video, as opposed to pausing it?

In my opinion nothing should be on the screen until you press info. Pause should just have the small bar with time and nothing else.

Looking for some volunteers that are non english speaking/reading to help with the localization for your language. You can add the strings to your language file with an (accurate as possible) translation and post it to Github with a pull request or here in this thread. To start you guys off in the right direction below is a commit where I added a few strings. Please use the current strings.po file though and not the one from the old commit. If you have a suggestion on changing how certain things are worded let me know.

What if there is an option on how to display "Current Time Position / Total Time"? You can either have it the way it's now when current time start counting up from 00:00 or you can set it to count down from total time so for example it'll be something like 19:02 / 22:01 where as 22:01 is total time and 19:02 is how many minutes are left, it's counting down to 00:00. That way its up to the individual user to select how they want to see their progress, with the default being the way it is now counting up from 00:00.

i am trying to move back to this awesome skin from shednox. can anyone tell me how to enable movie sets opening/closing like they do on shedonox? keep looking for that option but can't find. this skin just keeps improving!

Would it be possible to have an option to put a fixed menu with sets but not the main part movie with the same view? Or activate the animation of the disc and the film information for small shift?

Let me explain: If I put the showcase view, "movies" section appears with coverflow effect, the carousel (not sure of the word, I mean the last and the first video are following), information film and animation of the disc. This is perfect for me after setting the delay of a few seconds.

The problem is that if I go into a set, (by default, it was Shift view) I can not find the movie information. I have the disk that appears on top of the jacket (ugly in my opinion ...) but nothing else. For cons, the carousel is not enabled which is perfect.
If I turn the "small shift" option, thumbnails reduce but still no information of the film and the animation of the disk disappears.

I could put the showcase views for sets too but then the carousel is also active and it's really ugly when you have less than 8-10 movies ...

Would it be possible to have a small shift view, with the same information, and animation option that the showcase views (logo, disc ...) or, to be able to just disable the carousel only for sets?

EDIT

I would also like to know if there is a version close to the view "BannerPlex" the shednox release. With an upper part in 3 panels containing "info / summary | fanart | poster" and below the banners series over 3 rows and 3 columns.

I have a little desire.Can you make a video and Audio (720p or 1080p...)quality info in the lower bar,when i press the info button when playing a movie or twitch as shown in Confluence?

Custom widgets work fine on one box but not my other. Custom plugin path correct on both boxes, so was wondering if I could copy and move an .xml from working skin of yours from my other box and see if that works, that's if it's an .xml file

Or is this script related.

Is it possible to make an option to get the info screen up on pressing OK/Enter button instead of starting the movie?
The info panel already has a Play button.

Your Kodi settings for file lists would determine what happens when you select a movie from a list. Change the default to Movie Information or Choose.
