RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - mikeSiLVO - 2015-11-20 (2015-11-18, 18:43)martinconroy Wrote: Hi,Not possible unless added as an option/feature to script.skinshortcuts. The few things that you would need to duplicate like infolines or backgrounds seem like a waste of code when that is easily set yourself though... just my humble opinion. I looked in all the xml files and couldn't find it.Change the autoscroll time for the container... can't be more specific without looking at the code but search for autoscroll time="10000" in IncludesHomeRecentlyAdded.xml. Works so well!I don't use widgets but maybe superfavorites can be used and if you make a list of the items then use that as the widget... just guessing though (2015-11-19, 09:53)xTyD23x Wrote: Is there an easy way migrate the standard Aeon Nox skin to the Silvo Mod? I can't imagine every single setting would stick, but I have to think that most of it would, right? I would love to use this skin, but have a ton of work into a standard Aeon Nox skin, and I would like to avoid going through setting the entire thing up from scratch if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated.Nope... all settings need to be set up from scratch but the customization options available to choose from should be half the fun (2015-11-19, 17:24)martinconroy Wrote: Hi, Should be fixed on Git now. RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - martinconroy - 2015-11-20 Thanks as always RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - mxlance - 2015-11-20 (2015-11-20, 08:09)wgaddam Wrote: Mike, how do I connect Super Favorites folder to a menu or submenu? add your super favorites folders back to your kodi favorites. now they can be added to menus and sub-menus in skin settings. i believe i read that mr.v is working on the ability to add these to widgets. i am looking forward to this. hope this helps. RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - mxlance - 2015-11-20 @mikesilvo164 i have been away for some time with life issues. i am getting up to speed again here. very impressive, you continually out do your self. thank you RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - Stormykeith - 2015-11-21 Hi, I was trying various options in terms of menu layouts. Unfortunately, I had all my system related items on a single menu (Systems, addons, programs, Files etc). I enabled an additional menu item which must have taken me over the allowable 7 items. Unfortunately, this has meant that the menu containing access to the System settings no longer displays. Consequently, I'm now unable to make any changes due to lack of access to settings. How can I get my settings menu back? Can I make a change to an .Xml file? I am on a firestick without keyboard access. Any guidance would be really appreciated. Seems such a simple issue but not easy to resolve. Didn't think it would happen (disabling menu after 7 selections).... sods law that it just happened to be the one menu I can't do without! ! I've had a quick look and am sure one of .Xml files can be edited to get it back...just not sure which one and where! RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - pagali - 2015-11-21 I'm very confused by the problem above, of 'disabling menu after 7 selections'. I've used Aeon Nox and/or Aeon Nox Silvo for a long time and never had that problem. I currently have 11 main menu items and nothing has ever been disabled. Are you sure your Settings menu item didn't just get marked as hidden or disabled by accident? If so, the setting is probably found in guisettings.xml... but I couldn't begin to guess exactly where. Pretty sure that's what happened. All I did was change one menu item from disabled to enabled and the menu I had with my settings on disappeared. There is an option in the skin settings which let's you define the no of menu items to be displayed 5 and 7 are 2 of the settings as I recall. From your comments above, I suspect there may be another which effectively means unlimited menu items. If so, a pointer to the Xml which stores this value would solve my issue. I'm pretty sure that 3 or 5 setting only applies to how many menu items fit across the width of the screen. It has nothing to do with how many menu items you can actually have, and you can view them all by just scrolling across the screen. RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - AL8782 - 2015-11-22 MIke, I got the video-addon widget to change faster. Is there a way to put that list in alphabetical order. In the normal add-ons section, everything is in alphabetical order. But the video-addon widget isn't. Wanted to see if I could change that. Thanks again for your help. Awesome skin RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - BobCratchett - 2015-11-22 (2015-11-20, 06:32)mikesilvo164 Wrote: Not possible unless added as an option/feature to script.skinshortcuts. The few things that you would need to duplicate like infolines or backgrounds seem like a waste of code when that is easily set yourself though... just my humble opinion. As one of the contributors to script.skinshortcuts, I primarily wanted to just agree with Sir MikeSilvo (not sirrah in any way, and let me apologise once more for my lack of grasp on my native language!) that it should be easy enough to re-add things like infolines and backgrounds that the extra code (and the extra skin integration needed) wouldn't be worth it. However, also wanted to make it clear that I and others do keep half an eye out for user suggestions to improve the usability of the script - and I'm personally going to make an effort to make changes to the script to make it more user-friendly in the future (not to the next repo-version of the script, which will primarily be a code-cleanup release, but in the release after that.) Can I be honest in that I will have to have a giggle if the settings menu item is simply off-screen as pagali suggests. I apologise in advance for that. If it's NOT offscreen, then how to get it back depends on the version of Nox 5 Silvo you're running - Isengard and earlier, the skin shortcuts scripts only manages the submenu, so the main menu settings are contained in the guisettings.xml file - deleting that whilst Kodi isn't running will reset the skin (including the main menu) to default (or add what I'm about to say to one of the submenus - x[number].DATA.xml files). Jarvis and later, the skin shortcuts script now manages the whole menu, so if you've removed the settings menu either delete the contents of userdata (wiki)/addon_data/script.skinshortcut (this will reset your menu to default) or if you want to try to re-add the settings shortcuts add the following to mainmenu.DATA.xml:- Code: <!-- settings tile --> RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO *IMPORTANT INFO 1st POST* - lfma - 2015-11-22 Great skin, is it possible to have the same original Confluence skin display look when you play a video? Like this exemple. Thanks. |
