here's a quick question:
When I go to settings/file mgr/profiles/backgrounds all home menu items are in there with respective backgrounds EXCEPT weather. Somehow When i installed this skin (and it by far probably the best skin i've downloaded, congrats on a great job), month or so ago, weather was there, and I put in my own weather pics, now it's not. I can live with it, however, would love to k now why.

I´d love to get a second row in the submenu or at least more than 5 shortcuts in it (that can be seen right away without pressing the arrow to scroll to).

Is there a way to do it somehow?

Copy Sking & Replicate on different system.
I have been trying to replicate my shortcuts and menu settings from my HTPC onto a new RPi3.
Both running OpenELEC 6.0.3 w/ Aeon Nox Silvo 5.74-2.1.2

When using official backup add on all my setting are loaded but then skin immediately rebuilds menu and over rights the existing skin main menu and short cuts, widgets and settings.
I then manually copied the script-skinshortcuts-includes xml but then it imeddiately rebuilds the skin back to default.
I also tried to copy the whole 1080i folder. Same thing.
Is there another file I need to copy over. I have been beating my head for last 2 nights trying to replicate my build on the Pi3

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I didnt include a log as skin is working fine but I can if needed. Thanks!!

Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - schweppy - 2016-03-26

Hi
I have tried to duplicate my setup from Mac mini to my new android tv. All working except for random fan art backgrounds. Do I need to copy over the thumbnails folder (over half a gb) or should it auto repopulate? Using a MySQL server and selecting videos does show all the art as expected.

You need userdata (wiki)/addon_data/script.skinshortcuts - note that the contents of this directory aren't designed to be shared between different systems, so some settings - backgrounds, some links to playlists and so on, etc - may not transfer over correctly.

Hi Mike, I'm getting an error with "Extended Info" on all my fresh installs of Kodi with Aeon Nox and Aeon Nox Silvo, across Android, MAC OS and Windows. Seems to be some existing notes this general error across various skins, like here:

Sypmtom: Movie or TV Show Info, you get the error from the "Extended Info" addon, with an error of "ERROR: Could not find valid content type".

Just wondering if you have seen this on fresh installs, or might be able to help.

Is it possible to display the source video quality on playback like Confluence does? Since on this one no information is displayed.

I'm talking about when you press mouse1 (if on windows) and the playback controls come up as well as the quality info (SD, HD, 4K, audio type etc)

That worked great. I wonder why Back Up would pick that up since in add on data section. I had read a few post.
But I assume for anyone looking over it again the would also need to copy the skinshortcuts-include as well? Or does that get over written anyways?

It doesn't make a great deal of difference either way if the includes file is copied. The script performs a variety of different checks to decide whether it needs to write a new file. If you're transferring the addon_data folder to a different system, it's very likely at least one of the checks will fail and a new includes file will be written.

Same here. Went with fan art and weather fan art multi. Actually looks nice and wife liked?
I could not get Yahoo to work and set up weather underground. Like it much better : )

Is there way to get any widget to use full posters for artwork? Using super favorites. It worked great on Isengard. But only get fanart and square poster option.

You need the master branch for Krypton (Kodi 17). Works for me.

I am experiencing something strange. I think it has to do with this skin...

Let say I watch a TV show with two seasons:

- When I watched all of the episodes of season 1, the episodes do get a single check after each watch. But When I watched the last episode the complete season does not get a "check". Though everything inside is already checked.

- When I try to mark season 1 as watched, all the other seasons of this show get also marked as watched.

- Lets say I watched all seasons of the show. The show does not gets a marked as watched either.

- When I mark everything watched...the complete two seasons, and there will come a new season, the show still stays marked. Although there is a episode 3-1 inside the folder.

Maybe I am wrong about this error is a skin issue but I do not have it with any other skin.(EDIT) I have my TRAKT account linked with ex*d*s.


Another thing that gets me crazy because I do not understand:

I have the "Aeon Nox main menu lay-out" at 3 items. But now and then (after I watched a show) it changes back to 5 items. It is impossible to get it at 3 again. I have to restart Kodi before I see the original 3 items.

So i have tried multiple ways of getting my latest v17 rPI3 build (milhouse release) to work but its failing
Copy GIT over
Installing via the zip.
manually installing the dependencies outlined in the first post on this thread
