Can you play trailers on Aeon Nox SIlvo like you can with Madnox

I currently am able to display trailers for films in Madnox in the fanart box, not sure whether as a skin Silvo can do this ?

Any ideas ?

Yes Cover View is enabled, some covers show WEB-DL but all the Blu-Ray Covers are missing from the main wall, if remove them and re-add them to my library I get a black border instead of the default case. TV shows on the main wall are also missing cases. Strangely Clear Cases work fine, but "default" do not work normally.

Those need to be enabled twice. Once in skin settings and again in the views settings (enable status indicators). I probably need a better solution but for now that is how it works.

A major update is now on GitHub for Jarvis branch. Pre-warning you will likely have to reset you whole main menu. Loads of new features and almost a complete re-code of the widgets.

I did that and still got a black screen. What I did was open up my addon_data folder located in the userdata folder. Then I manually set the path for "CustomBackgroundPath" using notepad++ and bingo the default_bg.jpg was set. Thanks for the replies Mike I know this forum keeps you busy. We all appreciate it

Pretty sure trailers can only be played from the info screen. I mean in this skin not in general.

I noticed some script locations say -master at the end... Look thorough your addon folder and delete the skin folder and any duplicate folders that might be named slightly differently and reinstall the skin. It does work here so if it doesn't for you then it is either a issue with your setup or Kodi bug (unlikely). I checked with the nightlie before last.

Tried everything you suggested no change wonder why clear cases work fine

Sorry I found the problem. I have a Textures.xbt file so it was reading the images from that and not the updated locations for the cases. Will push a fix for testing shortly.

With Skin Shortcuts about to be updated on the repo, I can finally start adding new features and breaking it again. One of the first I'm adding has been requested in this thread more than anywhere else, so I'm hoping there are people willing to help test the ability to disable a menu item rather than just deleting it.

To test requires Krypton (though Mike may choose to enable to function on earlier versions later if he chooses) and this branch of Skin Shortcuts.

To install the branch of skin shortcuts, download zip from the link above, and replace the contents of addons/script.skinshortcuts/ with the contents of the zip file. You can find the addons folder one folder 'up' from the userdata (wiki) folder.

To disable (or re-enable) a menu item, highlight it in the list on the left and bring up the context menu.

Please note, Skin Shortcuts will try to enable this function in all skins via the context menu (on Krypton or higher) to try to avoid a situation where a menu item has been disabled in one skin but can't be re-enabled in another, but the skinner will of course have full control over how the function is implemented in their particular skin. Therefore, rather than comments on how its integrated into the skin - which is simply the way Skin Shortcuts tries to make it accessible in all skins that haven't implemented anything specific - I'm interested in whether the function works as expected and whether the context menu (which is also new) similarly works. (Though Mike may be interested in ideas of how the functionality should be exposed in Silvo Wink)

Mr V, you seem to be the man. I just posted a thread earlier asking how to do these widgets on Aeon Nox Silvo that you show here. I am new to Kodi and trying to make my own perfect build. I am using Silvo but have no option to use these widgets on my skin. They just don't have the detailed info like these widgets on movies and the option to play trailer, which I love. How do I get these widgets for my build? I am still fairly new to this, so this may be a silly question, but I just would like to use the Silvo skin with the widgets you have shown. Already put in many hours trying to make this build and didn't want to start over with new skin just for these widgets. Thanks for any help you can give to us newbies. Huh
