(2016-05-15, 19:22)cforestk Wrote: Hi, I'm a somewhat passive user of Kodi. I've had Aeon Nox Silvo installed for several months with no issues. However, recently this is what my home screen looks like when I start up Kodi on my Amazon Fire TV2. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the skin as well as restarting the Fire TV. Any idea what is going on and why it's not working? Thanks for any help! That seems like a textures issue. I would try the GitHub version to remove any possibilities of it being Textures.xbt related. Please read the README link under the GitHub link in the first post and the FAQ before installing. (2016-05-15, 19:22)wilmans2m Wrote: @mikesilvo164Nothing major with PM I just get too many support request and I don't do support through PM. Might disable it if it continues, have had a reprieve as of late though... I actually have no idea how to do Transifex but maybe I should copy bsoriano's advice and add it to the FAQ... (2016-05-16, 01:17)QuattroGam3r Wrote: Great skin, I like what you have done with it @mikesilvo164. I've been away from the Aeon Nox skins for a minute but i've been using yours for about a week and really like it.I have a forked older version of script.toolbox and you can install that to add extrafanart1-10 to all library items or if the script has not changed too much you can alter the code like in my last commit to add it to the current repo version. (2016-05-16, 10:16)mhoogenbosch Wrote: To show what exactly I mean, I shot a little movie of the behavior:You activated the never hide PVR shortcuts option in script.skinshortcuts settings like Bob mentioned? Do any changes stick, like backgrounds and shortcut paths or is it just changing the position of Live TV that is not working? Could you not have write permissions or something? Maybe a debug log (wiki) will be helpful. (2016-05-16, 22:47)BobCratchett Wrote: The only proper way to solve it is to ask whoever is responsible for the Kodi fork you're using to include all the standard Python libraries, including cProfile - the issue is with the fork that you are using, and should be solved there.Feel free to correct me on this Sir Bob but I think I remember reading that Linux uses or can use the system installed python version so maybe it can be updated or re-installed (2016-05-17, 01:37)ashsmh Wrote: Hi Mike, I recently found your modded skin. I am loving it. But for some reason I am unable to use the widget feature. When I select the 2 widget options, nothing happens. I downloaded the latest version in the beginning of this thread. I am on 16.1 Jarvis on a RK3188 Android Box. I have installed all the necessary scripts. Please help me out.Are you using a mouse on an android device? If so I might need you to test out some changes, if not then please post a debug log (wiki). I'm thinking its some script trying to grab info and erroring out. anyone else seen this? or have an idea how to fix it?Going to need a debug log (wiki) there has to be something in it RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Hack_kid - 2016-05-18 (2016-05-18, 04:05)mikesilvo164 Wrote:(2016-05-15, 14:18)Warez Wrote: Holaa Mike ..... is it possible to make a system info widget like in mq6?The Widget offerings are already numerous. I've been looking but i dont see much. where should i put the log? in the meantime here is a snippit of it http://pastebin.com/auD1vcyC it seems to always crash after doing something with an image is the only thing i notice this is on kodi 16.1 RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - junias - 2016-05-18 Hi Mike, thank you so much for the great update! I hope you know, that i asked you to put the genre-colors in the subdirectory "media/new_pvr/epg-genres". Thank you so much for doing this. I´ve tested this now and it works, but some genre colors were missing (64.png ,...)... So the colored epg isn´t complete. So i did some work with that and build up a new genre-color... I´ve uploaded an zip on dropbox: Here If you download it, extract the "*.png" files and copy them in the folder "media/new_pvr/epg-genres", the full epg were coloured Before you copy the files in the folder, please delete all "*.png" files from the folder. Thank you so much! BTW: Do you know, how i can implement this in the skin on my htpc, so that i have not to wait until the next repo skin update?? IF NO FULL DEBUG LOG (wiki) IS PROVIDED THEN NO HELP WILL BE EITHER. I have had to ask for logs for the majority of my recent responses and I have had enough. RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - rf1967 - 2016-05-18 Would it be possible to include more fonts to choose from (for instance Game of Thrones or anyother)? Amazing job, Mike. Thanks for the share RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Hack_kid - 2016-05-18 wow dude. i'm not a troll. Im a expierenced android developer for cyanogenmod on many devices. I've worked xbmc before and have used it since it was called xbmp. i cant put the whole log on pastebin it wont fit. and about it just playing mp3s thats what i said. it happens during music but it only happens when your sin is in use. I'm kind of thinking its one of the dependency scripts. xbmc seems to get zero attention to music playback i have a feeling its a common bug no one has noticed cuz they use xbmc for videos.. I think it has something to do with the cdart. thats always the last thing in the log before the crash and reboot btw my username on xda is albinoman887 if your wondering who the f i am EDIT: could we possibly add an option to turn off disc art in music vis? i really think that is what the problem is. I had this issue on Aeon Nox 4 with clearlogos way back in the day on frodo or eden RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - BobCratchett - 2016-05-18 (2016-05-18, 22:56)mikesilvo164 Wrote: TO ALL WHO POST IN THIS THREAD... You don't know any creative musicians do you...? I go through periods where all I seem to do is ask for debug logs, and I've long dreamed about a Kodi-style 'rick-rolling', except linking to an incredibly cheesy debug log song ("This is the debug log song/Because we need a debug log/It's the debug log song" style of thing). Unfortunately I know no-one talented enough to make it a reality (2016-05-18, 23:32)Hack_kid Wrote:(2016-05-18, 22:56)mikesilvo164 Wrote: You obviously have a full crashlog, which is useful above and beyond any debug log (it contains the full debug log, for a start). If it won't fit on pastebin, zip it up and put it one of the thousands of file sharing sites - if you have an account then dropbox, google docs or one drive are great options. If not, a simple Google search will come up with - literally - hundreds of possibilities. RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Hack_kid - 2016-05-19 @mikesilvo164 here is a full log.. Now its showing other crap. but like i said it doesnt happen with the default skin. I even compiled from your git to make sure i had the latest changes http://pastebin.com/UnjCRUCz RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - BobCratchett - 2016-05-19 So after being told that the full crashlog is useful above and beyond the debug log, you spend the time stripping out just the debug log from the crashlog. Love it , and given your involvement with public projects (sorry, not sure if cyanogenmod is open source or not), I'm sure you understand why people are going to take your issue much less seriously - and therefore give much less time to looking over what information you provide and giving solutions - than they would otherwise have done. Oh, and best of luck with your future Kodi journey*. * It's been pointed out to me that, because I do it rarely enough, the phrase "Best of luck with your future Kodi journey" isn't well known enough that I still should explicitly point out that it means I believe you are - directly or indirectly (OK, in your case directly) - trolling, and so are now on my ignore list. RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - mikeSiLVO - 2016-05-19 (2016-05-18, 23:32)Hack_kid Wrote:Never once did I call you a troll. I asked if you were and gave my reasons as to why I asked such a "ridiculous" question in the first place. Not sure why that offended you so much considering I obviously used my time to look through your logs and mention what I saw. I do not feel like going through several back and forth posts like asking what version of script.skin.helper you have installed when a full proper log from startup will give me answers like that before I recommend enabling that scripts debug log (wiki). That is just one example of the many questions I need answers to when an issue is reported. As a developer I had hoped that would make some sense to you.(2016-05-18, 22:56)mikesilvo164 Wrote: Just because you felt the need to point out who you are... I feel the need to mention that I don't use an android device and could still care less who the f you are. That being said I appreciate you giving back to that community cause if I did have an android device I would probably install it. I can only assume you are crashing due to some possible memory leak or limit being reached after a long time has passed of indeterminate length. Again I am assuming a lot with no info given, I don't even know if you are using an android device to possibly connect to a Windows NAS of some sort. What do your Android development tools say is happening when Kodi crashes? (2016-05-18, 23:36)BobCratchett Wrote: You don't know any creative musicians do you...? I go through periods where all I seem to do is ask for debug logs, and I've long dreamed about a Kodi-style 'rick-rolling', except linking to an incredibly cheesy debug log song ("This is the debug log song/Because we need a debug log/It's the debug log song" style of thing). Unfortunately I know no-one talented enough to make it a realityI have children and can ryhme lots of words with Poo, does that count? That tells me you smell like an old and dirty loo (for my British friends)! If you don't post a proper one, I don't have a clue! If you want some help there's nothing I can do, especially without a log which will tell me more than you! (Mic Drop?) YouTube video may come later after the adoration of my amazing lyrics subside RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - BobCratchett - 2016-05-19 (2016-05-19, 00:08)mikesilvo164 Wrote: If you don't post a log you're nothing but Poo! (@schimi2k - you don't know any musically + youtube inclined individuals, do you? This needs to become reality!)
