RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - rarazxp - 2016-07-08

Can anyone tell me where the setting is to define steps in seconds/minutes when rolling the mouse wheel?

Now when I roll forward/bckward it skips 30 seconds up/down. I want to change that.

Not skin related but you can find the option in your Kodi settings. I can't remember where on Jarvis but it is in Player > Videos > Skip steps in Krypton.

I am sorry. Can you please be specific. I can not find the option.
There is System> Setup > Video. But it is not in Video afaik.
I am on Kodi 16.1

That I know. No way to make this information be visible as soon as I press PAUSE? :-)

You were close. System> Video> Playback
You need to set your settings level to Advanced or Expert to see the above option.

My TV Shows view is set to "Logo", on both. Then each show's episode list view is set to "Right List", on both.
Floor bar is hidden on both (if there is a setting for that, or it's automatically hidden, I can't remember at this time of writing).

On the PC, no media flags are shown on the floor area. However, on the Pi 3, media flags do show on the floor barea.

I like a minimalist setup, so I'd like to hide the flags on the Pi 3. How can I do that? Is there an option I missing?

Note: the one different thing I can think of between both setups, is that on my Pi 3 I did not install the ExtendedInfo addon, as it wasn't marked as required, and I rather turn as many things off on the Pi 3 as possible, without breaking anything.

Thanks in advance.
Open side menu and use the viewtype settings.
I'm sorry! It's Network and Rating (i.e. TV14) that are showing constantly, and only on some episodes it shows media flags.

On both the PC and the Pi, in the "RightList: Settings" Floor is set to hidden. But on the Pi Network/Rating/M. Flags still show on the Floor area. Setting the Floor to visible on the PC, does not show Network/Rating/MF, it just shows the floor itself.

Is that the setting you were referring to?
Is there maybe other setting somewhere else that should be configured to not show that information?

I found a workaround to the issue:
1) loaded up the Apple iTunes trailers addon, I set the view to RightList, in its Settings I can see the option "Mediaflags". I turned it off there.
2) I went back to the TV shows menu, selected one of the shows, now the media flags are not showing in the episodes' RightList view.
3) I checked again the RightList settings in the viewtype for the episodes, still the option media flags does not show.

There seems to be a "bug" somewhere there.

I confirm the same happens on both the PC and Pi 3 installs.

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Maaarv - 2016-07-09

Hi,

I just tried to cache local extrafanart for one of my girlfriend's tv shows.
But somehow it does not cache anything here. I don't know why because for every other tv show it just works.
The show is called "Doctor's Diary". I was thinking that maybe it has something to do with the apostrophe!?
The artwork is located within the tv shows extrafanart folder and the backdrops are named "fanart1", "fanart2" and so on... just like for every other tv show I have.
Any idea?

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - dimaceti - 2016-07-09

Hey,

first off I would like to thank you for this great mod! I am using it as my daily set up now.

I have come across a problem now. I have a few custom smart playlists that I have put in the submenu. However when I click on them nothing happens.
If I open the playlist through the "videos" menu the show up fine. What am I missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Hi Mike. Just bugging you again and wondering if you've looked at or thought about this yet? I understand that it'd be nice to have the info on all artwork types but as a last resort, having it only show on Landscape wouldn't be too much of a downside. Anyway, the work is always appreciated.

Try renaming it to "Doctors Diary", without the apostrophe, the scrapper should still find info for that show (at least thetvdb does).

I really do not want to add this. I don't see the reason to since 1 extra button press to show info while paused isn't that hard but... I'll probably add it since many have asked for it previously and sometimes the justification isn't worth the explanation.

I see now. I guess I didn't finish that... Will add separate options for Movies and Episodes. TV and Seasons will be the same setting.
Thanks for pointing out the issue.

Try manually adding the images using the choose art function in the info dialog. Once you "cache" it extrafanart is added to the artwork DB and you can manually set any image for each movie or tv show.

Using Krypton? Need more info like what the path says in the main menu customizer and basic information like what skin and Kodi version... Huh

Yes sorry for that...
I have the problem on Krypton Alpha 2 and latest nightly build and skin version 5.9.1.
The path is: ActivateWindow(VideoLibrary,special://profile/playlists/video/example.xsp,return)

Not a big deal, but I really think the pause screen looks a whole lot nicer with the clearart in the lower right corner and the infobar on top :-) Just my honest opinion!
