But on my Android TV set-top box it doesn’t work. In the morning before the update it worked. For me, the most radiant skin.

No. Well that sucks. I’m about to get a shitstorm of complaints now...

I was experiencing issues when testing other skins so added a do not share menu tag in the overrides.xml file.

I didn’t think that would reset the menu but I guess it did.

Can you try removing the
<doNotShareMenu /> line from overrides.xml with Kodi off and see if your menu comes back?

Well it sorta worked but I had already started rebuilding the menus last night. So this morning I removed <doNotShareMenu />. All the menu items returned but not the widgets or my beautiful artwork for the backgrounds Smile. No biggie.

I JUST tried this on the other box that I installed 7.0.5 on but hadn't started restorations....Perfect! ALL my beautiful artwork is there as well as everything else! Smile

Not very descriptive. I assume you mean you can't press any buttons.

You using a modified skin or updating manually without replacing all the skin files?

Post a copy of your VideoOSD.xml file to pastebin or direct link the file.

I set the skin directly from kodi 18.4. In the beginning, everything worked fine, but after updating the bottom menu does not work.

That depends. Are you using the built-in playlist or the Skin Helper Widget?

If Skin Helper then you need to change the settings:

If it is the playlist then just create your own without a playcount rule and use that as your Widget:

I know the way with the spl...but it would be cool if you could add an option to toggle this

No, i meant an option to hide or show the watched movies in the standard widgets. Like the skin helper addon

Something auto-updated today causing the whole menu to reset to defaults.
For now i'll restore my backup and disably auto-updating plugins, you got any idea what might cause this and how to prevent it (or restore my carefully crafted menu afterwards)?

oh never mind i just red some more backlog and found it's a general issue and how to work around it :-D

The Skin Helper Widget is from an add-on and can dynamically set the contents. Smart Playlist are just a list and cannot be changed without altering them.

If you want to customize the playlists then make your own. That is what they are for.
