I should have been more precise. Kodi on raspberry pi doesn't run in X. It makes direct use of the framebuffer (I think thats the right term). So there is no X for chrome to run on.

You were precise the first time. Despite baldarcher imagination, Chrome doesn't exist on RPI.

Maybe he confused it with chromium.

Hi. Is this add-on still working? I have installed it and the Chrome Launcher on Kodi Helix. The add-in launches, even asks me which profile to use on my xbmc account (clearly connected to Netflix as it had the right list of names for the 4 profiles on my account). But when I try to access anything it just flashes a message at the top of the screen stating that I'm not logged in.

I am in Canada... is that the issue?

Thanks.

Yes, NetfliXBMC should work.

Two things for you to try:
Logon to netflix from a browser and select "Your Account". In settings turn off "Test Participation"
In NetfliXBMC settings, under the advanced tab, turn off "Use Advanced SSL"

If you still have problems, can you turn on debug and send us the kodi.log file?
Instructions here. Debug Log

Hi, sorry I'm new here and apologize if this has already been brought up before, but I'm having an issue with my install where I go to play a video, chrome launches full screen and starts playing the video and the focus returns back to Kodi. The video continues to play in the background while the Kodi menu's is all I can see, and I have no easy way to switch to the background process using a remote. The only way I can really do it is by closing Kodi entirely and then the chrome video becomes the main window. Windows 8.1 and Kodi, can't remember the exact version right now.

This is great.... Smile I almost got netflixbmc to work. But there is just one little problem. Sad

When I start kodi without X, netflix only uses half of the screen. I am not able to resize the window or use fullscreen. If I start kodi from X, netflix is in fullscreen. (I hope this makes sense?)

I am running the latest kodibuntu and the latest chrome.

Thank you,
kharder

I'm hoping to get a bit of help to get this working. I currently have Kodi 14.2 with this add-on installed. When "Who's Watching" pops up it is completely blank. No profiles appear. Anyone have any idea as to why this might be? I searched a bit with Google, but couldn't find an answer. Thanks.

Just check the netflixbmc version number. That problem was fixed a while ago. You should have version 1.3.21
If not, check the bottom of the first post on this thread and use the alelec repository shown there.

hey
when browsing through netflixbmc, it's permanently re-logging in.
The addon works fine, but that's really annoying.

When kodi is updated, like when a scan for new movies has completed, kodi will refresh netflixbmc. Currently netflixbmc doesn't know its already logged on, so when refreshed it will try to logon again. There is no persistence for the python scripts. This re-logon was happening on all prior versions of netflixbmc, but you just couldn't see that it was happening (you might have seen a second "who's watching" sometimes), but now with the logon "splash screen" you get to see it.

I have a fix for it and I'm still testing it, but it should be in the next release.

BTW, I've only seen this rarely, if you start netflixbmc before the start-up movie scan has completed. Are you seeing netflixbmc continually logging in?

[RELEASE] NetfliXBMC - Unofficial Netflix Add-on (Win/OSX/Linux) - Thread 2 - horstepipe - 2015-05-18

it is logging in after almost every button I press in Netflixbmc.

Hmm... Is that with Confluence skin? What version of Kodi are you using and on what OS?
I would also like to send you modified files to test and see if this fixes your problem. PM me if you're willing to try that.

RE: [RELEASE] NetfliXBMC - Unofficial Netflix Add-on (Win/OSX/Linux) - Thread 2 - horstepipe - 2015-05-19

Happens with Confluence and with Aeon MQ5 Helix Mod (which I actually use).
I'm using Kodi 14,2 on Windows 8.1

Do you use Launcher4Kodi?
It forces the focus on Kodi but you can disable Kodi focus in Launcher4Kodi for certain Software (ex. Chrome).
