After the last NetfliXBMC Update the Addon disappeared out of my List and is not marked as installed. I tried to reinstall it but this doesn't work either.
What's wrong there?

When looking at your repo it doesnt look like there is a file called that on http://www.alelec.net/kodi/repo/plugin.video.netflixbmc/
The zip file is on http://www.alelec.net/kodi/repo/
If people have trouble with this, download it manually from there, and install as zip in kodi. I did that, and it works now.

Yes the location of netflixbmc.zip in the repo is incorrect. It should be inside the plugin.video.netflixbmc folder.
Everything is back to working now, by manually downloading it. Thanks Smile

The updated add-on is not working for me.

I can do the following:
- Login successful
- choose "who is watching" successful
- see list with categories (Movies, TVShows, Suggestions, ..)
- see the list of sub-categorie (MyList, Viewing Activity, ...)

But If I go into a sub-categorie ist empty... No Movies, Shows etc. are shown.

Yeah drats, I got the repo improvements wrong. That seems to wrong to me for the zip's to have to be in folders, could make updating later more complex.
Oh well, I'll just have to deal with it when I update next.

It doesn't matter where I install Netflixmbc from (repo or Zip file from Github) I get a script error and Kodi just freezes when trying to run Netflixmbc.
Attached the log file created when Kodi crashes. I am running nightlies of Isengard and Phil65 version of Aeon Nox.
Everything else runs fine just not Netflixmbc.

Sorry but the log file actually doesn't tell us much, which is strange. Basically the plugin just dies during login, without giving any error/exception messages.
There's a msg about trying to initialize the progress bar twice which is bad, but probably not the main issue.

There's often issues with ssl, could you try turning off advanced ssl in the netflixbmc settings if you haven't already?

It's a real pain, the ssl changes are required for some people to get Netflix, and clearly break it for others. Might have to build a way to try connections with both settings and remember the result.

Anyone encountered 'My List' not showing actual lists?

I reset the plugin & was able to see a populated 'My List' but this time it wouldn't play with an error suggesting that the 'WidevineCDM' needs to added to the plugin (I'm on a Mac). Added that (why was it removed!) & it still doesn't play.

I have now removed this plugin it's been nothing but a PITA for me.

The only weird thing I have noticed (but not a problem) is when you exit an area (say - TV shows) it wants to resend login details again?

It worked for me until I tried playing my first movie, it crashed and now it's not starting...

Is there a possibility to use the windows 8 Netflix app with kodi ?

Can't we just launch the app from kodi and view Netflix ?

- No real problems.
- No cast information?

Viewing Activity

- No real problems.
- It's not always uptodate, the last viewed episode not visible.
- The episode metadata does have the wrong description, it's the tv show description.
