what ports do I open on my firewall so I can see files via upnp - ratulloch1 - 2015-01-06

I'm running xbmc / kodi 14.0 on my ubuntu 14.04 machine and I'm trying to view / watch my files located on my Kodi ubuntu machine from my nexus 7 tablet. I'm using bubbleu pnp on my tablet which can see my plex server but it can't see my kodi server are there ports on my firewall I need to open up like I did for the plex server? If so what are they?

This worked for me

This link may help you find out which ports need to be open.
Please note: there are several ports that need to be open and they may change so each machine may use different ports.
