Possible to get Fullscreen View option for Nebula? - xbmcwayist - 2015-01-13
As the title suggests, I am asking if it is possible to get a truly fullscreen view as an option in Nebula, both for Gotham and Helix.
What I mean is for some addons, such as Google Images, due to Google's API it is impossible to be able to do a search term, and then be able to view each result as a fullscreen image. Instead, we are left with clicking one result, and viewing it along with all the other images on that webpage, and having to then return to the main search results menu and do the same thing again.
In all, using some of the views already included in Nebula, such as 'Image Wrap,' I can simply highlight a particular search result image and get a small-to-medium image on the screen being shown which I can scroll through. However, no fullscreen option view to make each image fullscreen.
Basically, I am just curious if this could be possible, namely as a way to get around Google's API restrction which GoogleImages, for one has. Also, it would make a simple image search I feel like doing through Google or even another picture addon really cool as I can create a slideshow on my TV.

Aww, that's a shame. I figured since you can set all addons to 'List' or 'Thumbnails', for example, you could simply create a fullscreen view on a skin then any addon that is set on that view, and its search results, for example, would come up on a 1 per page sort of condition.
This would essentially give us a fullscreen picture in a particular addon, such as the Google Images addon.
Right now your 'Image Wrap' generates an easy slideshow of sorts, only the images are small. I figured you could simply enlarge the images to fullscreen and that'll make a fullscreen view. 'Card List' too perhaps could do similar.

This could be done, but the full screen picture will still be in low res and from my point of view it does not make sense.

I hear ya if the resolution cannot be increased. Definitely wouldn't make sense then.
