Can't purge packages - bajaboy - 2015-01-13

I installed Kodi 14 and installed every repository and package. (I'm a newbie) About one out of five shows will play, and I've learned that having too many packages can cause trouble playing. I've tried rm ~/.kodi/, but get the message that this is a folder and can't be removed. I would like to purge the system and load just fusion. Removing the Kodi and reinstalling doesn't remove the packages, I assume this is normal.

So how do I purge them? The only thing that works well is METV, which I would like to keep, even if that is all I can get. When I had Aereo it was my favorite channel. When I uninstall/reinstall the whole mess keeps coming back!

rm -rf ~/.kodi will delete your whole userdata dir, including all settings. Its a fresh start.
