Or if the skin files can be modified to fix it, could you give me some indication of how and where? Appreciate any help you can give
Not currently. I'm not quite sure what the best approach to solving this is yet without complex code or buggy behaviour.

I think confluence does it, if that is any help

Its not being able to use thumbs thats the problem, it's figuring out how to decide on what basis the ratio is switched

RE: Arctic: Zephyr - holdestmade - 2015-08-05

Jurial,

Not sure if this is skin or kodi - is it possible to start the EPG timeline at the current time instead of where last left off ?

Cheers

If it is it should be fixed with 15.1

What Mimic and, I believe, fTV do is let users choose what orientation the thumbs should be for custom widgets, ie portrait, landscape, or square. Not very elegant as I had to add a custom window, but works.

Yeah I've been thinking that might really be my only solution. Even then the switches between widgets on classic home are still a bit buggy (you can see this going from a movie widget to a music widget - the widget resizes for the new content before the new content starts to load and so there is a flash of content at the wrong ratio before the switching animations are triggered).

Fantastic skin. Great work!

I have one question, is there a way to adjust the opacity so the background art is more opaque?

Can we respect the original proportion/dimensions of the fan art at least and resize accordingly? It's really bothersome...

I was wondering the same thing. A lot of heads get cut off in my fanart.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr - Namerp - 2015-08-07

"show plot overlay ..." - works great at a real htpc, doesn´t works good for RPi2 (most likely other arm platform too)
If I open tv-series, the RPi2 needs about ~2sec to load the Informations and after the "view" is loaded instantly the plot overlay appear.
It seems that the 3sec timer isn't counted after the page is loaded (don´t know if this is possible at kodi) instead it is counted directly after enter the folder is pressed.
To fix this you could count after the view is loaded, if this is not possible you could also make the time variable (3/5/7 ...).

How do I get the OSD back along the bottom? It's suddenly along the left-hand side in some vertical box. I looked in Settings and couldn't find anything.

Cheers

How come the ExtendInfo dependency now shows up under the Video Addons section?

RE: Arctic: Zephyr - elchupete - 2015-08-08

Kodi automatically updated skin to Version 2.0

I had made some changes to the skin in previous versions:
- replaced soundfile and sounds.xml in folder with my own (still works fine)
- replaced some picture files in media/indicator, media/flags, media/dialog etc. (see below issue)
- some adjustments in includes_furniture.xml (seems to work fine)

I have replaced those files in every new version for my own pleasure.

with version 2.0 it seems to be the case, that media files have moved to somewhere else and I cant figure out to where.

If I want for example replace the progress wheel (the one with the 0.....100.png ) with my own, where do I find the images now?
What about Indicator images and flag images? where have they gone to?

Thanks in advance

Stefan

Edit: OK I don't know what happened, but it seems that Kodi only loaded / updated half of the Skin (e.g. completely empty media folder).
I downloaded Git Version, installed it, replaced my files and it looks OK so far.....

Extremely strange though
