I am having this same issue as well. Everything else seems to work fine, but when I select a program from the TV Guide and choose record I get a screen with 5 options, but no text (except for three which show this as a label: ?0? ).
Is there a fix for this that we know of?

I hadn't even realized this was out until I saw the skin showcase on the main page. My new favorite skin, love it. I use the vertical menu because I think it is better for modern HDTV's. I don't think there is a single thing I don't like about this skin.

I set a fallback background picture, but it's pixellated as if upscaled from a smaller size. What's with that?
Also, there's no way to get Plex covers and stuff to show up on the home page like, is there? Like in the screenshot linked in previous posts.

I couldn't find a reply to this question and I too am having difficulty finding information on how the TV and Movie hubs actually work. Do I need to enable them some how?

2. I'm guessing you are using NextPVR. The reason is that it uses the WMC recording dialog but has different labels and controls. I don't use NextPVR and can't test it as I don't use windows. Someone else will need to create a custom dialog.
3. Doesn't happen for me with tvheadend. Not a skin problem.

Might make it optional in the future. However, I'm quite busy at the moment so for the time being it will be like this.

Don't use Plex so don't have a clue about plex stuff.

Add them in the Home Customisation dialog from Choose Shortcuts > Common.

The image is 1920x1200, and after cropping it down to 1080 to match monitor resolution it does look better.

As I can see KODI works with 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 is downsized then to 1920x1080.
As you already found out the resolution, the only way is to crop the picture to 1920x1080.

Home Customisation > Set Background?
Widgets > Set Slideshow Path?
Background > Set Fallback image?
If it was set the last way, you also need to set it as the background for each individual menu item in the home customisation window...
