Nope. No device that does MVC 3D, full 4K and premium streaming apps in 4K. If you nix 3D MVC as requirement, then yes... nVidia Shield TV. But, 4K Amazon is only available via Fire TV gen 2 and Amazon app built into 4K TV's like Vizio's & others.

Hmm, not much point in going out of the way to get a 3D+4K device at this point then since it may be quite a while before we're able to rip 4K blurays.

looking for a Kodi/Netflix/Plex/Youtube/Vevo player with 4K and HDR, looking for a long term, witch one will you choose, nVidia Shield TV, HiMedia Q10 Pro or other option? Who has the best hardware, software and UI?

tate1293 just asked a very similar question. You don't mention 3D (what this thread is about), but based on your wants, nVidia Shield TV is your best bet.

UHD BD is a higher capacity Blu-ray disc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray#Ultra_HD_Blu-ray
Many optical drives can read these discs. However, hardly anyone has them in hand to do any current testing.
To "play" a UHD BD or even a regular BD on an optical drive you need to appropriate software and I'm sure PowerDVD is working to get their software to do that, if they haven't already.

im sure many people have the drives themselves as they arent uncommon (LG BD XL drives are one i think i read about) but the issue is many people with those drives have no care in the world about 4k bluray.
Pirates can also release 4k bluray captures in HDR quality right now with the current technology that they are using to rip the 4k netflix and amazon stuff, all they need is a high powered capture device that can capture at quality levels at or above UHD bluray.. which is available and at least one or some of them must have access to one currently. im really surprised no torrents have popped up from a legit UHD bluray source yet..

You have 1 first hand report. I've read many more who've achieved positive results. So unlike you I've done actual research rather than just jumped on my soap box to say I know everything because I did 1 test and my results are negative.
Never mind your original statement is still false because you failed to understand the difference between the drive reading a disc and the method then used for playback.
You really should have stopped when you were already behind rather than try to catch up and instead trip over your own feet and fall flat on your face. If you'd like to turn that scraped knee into a broken nose though, well, keep going as you were.
