RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - hdmkv - 2016-04-26 Hopefully @Koying will reply as I'm not sure what's up. RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - dukester - 2016-04-26 (2016-04-26, 17:36)Al_Jourgensen Wrote: Nothing, same thing no changes Kodi is detecting and handling the 3D format just fine, why your display isnt switching over is a good question. normally in this case 90% of users can just hit the "3D" button on their TV remote and everything is good to go. did you try a Kodi 17 build? iirc there was some work regarding 3D detection in the last few months but i thought it only had to do with 3D MVC detection without relying on filename tagging. RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - Al_Jourgensen - 2016-04-26 It´s a 3D vision ready Display (Asus PG278Q), so i don´t have remote......i could try that version, can you post me a link? Thank you RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - noggin - 2016-04-26 (2016-04-26, 18:53)Al_Jourgensen Wrote: It´s a 3D vision ready Display (Asus PG278Q), so i don´t have remote......i could try that version, can you post me a link? Ah - so this isn't a 3D HDTV? That could be an issue. RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - hdmkv - 2016-04-26 Not familiar with your display... but, a Google search brings this up: Quote:And the other not so good news is that there is not a single mention of 3D Vision support, so apparently this display from ASUS is not 3D-capable... It's a 2+ year-old article, so who knows. I hear ya. i have experienced it also from time to time, mostly with odd ball formats like full side by side or full top and bottom, easy solution for me is that 3D button, my TV does the rest. i would try this one myself. its a few days old but imo its a decent one to try. ;-) http://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/win32/KodiSetup-20160421-38ac930-master.exe lastly, i would probably make a specific post in this hardware section in the hopes that someone will see it and give you some help. pretty sure blame will fall on Nvidia drivers or your specific display, but like you said it was working with older versions, so it should be possible. RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - Al_Jourgensen - 2016-04-26 I´m telling you guys, i had no troubles at all with other Kodi versions......i´m going to try the 14 Helix, our 15 Isangard, and get back to you RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - Al_Jourgensen - 2016-04-26 OK....i don´t know if it is because of windows 10, but i try Version 14 Helix / 15.2 Isangard / 16 Jarvis / the version metioned above, and all had the same results........on this last one, you can see better what happens if i enable "hardware based" option: - https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ai4wh0xwljk8wv/26042016145%20%28online-video-cutter.com%29.mp4?dl=0 RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - dukester - 2016-04-26 (2016-04-26, 19:53)Al_Jourgensen Wrote: OK....i don´t know if it is because of windows 10, but i try Version 14 Helix / 15.2 Isangard / 16 Jarvis / the version metioned above, and all had the same results........on this last one, you can see better what happens if i enable "hardware based" option: I don't think "hardware based" is the correct selection on any system except one trying to decode mvc. You should enable "same as movie" RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - dukester - 2016-04-26 (2016-04-26, 19:53)Al_Jourgensen Wrote: OK....i don´t know if it is because of windows 10, but i try Version 14 Helix / 15.2 Isangard / 16 Jarvis / the version metioned above, and all had the same results........on this last one, you can see better what happens if i enable "hardware based" option: A simple search shows youve asked before about this and basically have never had it working in Kodi, nor is it possible currently as per afedchin told u RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - wesk05 - 2016-04-26 I will check this out on my Dell laptop which actually has nVIDIA 3D vision (1st gen.). RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - Kendos - 2016-04-26 Hello, I want to buy 'INTEL NUC BOXNUC5CPYH' with the cpu 'Celeron N3050'. Mvc and hd audio bitstreaming works with this one, right? The other thing is remote. I have the Xbox One Remote and is it possible to use it without FLIRC? Thanks RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - movie78 - 2016-04-26 (2016-04-26, 23:03)Kendos Wrote: Hello, Not good for HD Audio.. RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - Kendos - 2016-04-26 Really? I could buy this one for around 100$ with a ssd but Im happy that I asked ![]() I dont know if it was asked but is a chart existing with information about hd audio and which cpu is supporting it? RE: Kodi Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - hdmkv - 2016-04-26 And maybe no MVC either, or both at once. Read @Mylo75's posts (from here onward). Yes to chart... I'm maintaining in post #1 of that thread w/everyone's inputs. |
