I think only Bevix with Marvell soc have better PQ with Qdeo engine.

I think H8 is better cause of 4k
4k without hevc 10 bit, a HDR (High Dynamic Range) , gamut Rec.2020 not make any sense

Looking at the chart, the H8 seems inferior to the Q5, but I'm torn. I am ready to start using KODI again, and want the best experience with 4K. I have no interest in 3D as my new 4K television doesn't support it. I understand there are some "wrapper" issues with H8, but frankly I don't know how that will affect me. My goals:
Very Snappy UI experience in KODI
Crisp/smooth 1080P or 4K playback
DTS/ DTS-HD passthrough

What is 3D playback picture quality of Himedia Q5 compare to the VidOn box?
The M-195 has a dull 3D playback,not as vibrant and clear as the VidOn box.

Is this SBS;HOU or 3D.ISO (Frame packed) ?
So it is playing the raw .SSIF file (Which is container of 3D.ISO) in Kodi without external player.

Soo @mirror88 ... that Zidoo X6 seems very promising...but can in reality passthrough hd audio?! kodi is updatable via playstore, right? and most important, where and how much can we get that, in Europe ??

I have an MKV file with frame packed 3d but when I try to play it with Himedia q5 it only shows it 2d
I have another 3d file in iso format and the player plays it fine, as soon as i hit play it starts to play it in 3d.
any help would be appriciated.

Cause himedia doesnt support frame packed 3d in mkv format
