RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - bore - 2015-11-06 Nvidia shield does not have spdif i think. RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - hdmkv - 2015-11-06 Quote:Not interested in3D ISO.Almost any media player can manage HSBS and HTAB type 3D playback you're wanting. Since you're also interested in 4K, I agree with couto on nVidia Shield TV, even if above your stated budget. At le$$, Raspberry Pi2, Chromebox, WeTek Core, and many more options. RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - Cob2 - 2015-11-06 Thanks for advice! Does raspberry have wlan? I would like not to play with cable. Someone wrote at chromebox is a good option too. Is it signifintly better? It will eat everything what I will give him? Include 4k? RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - bore - 2015-11-06 Nvidia shield does not have spdif i think.I need optical out. All you need is a cheap USB to spdif adapter.. RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - bore - 2015-11-06 So Minix can play mkv h264 and h.265+3d mkv.Right? RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - hdmkv - 2015-11-06 (2015-11-06, 16:30)Cob2 Wrote: Thanks for advice! Does raspberry have wlan? I would like not to play with cable.WLAN = Wi-fi? If so, yes, if you buy a wi-fi adapter (comes with many kits). Chromebox can't do MVC 3D, but other than that, it's faster, more powerful and bitstreams HD audio. Supposed to be getting a unit for review, but they're trying to manage a limited supply at this point apparently. MINIX NEO X8-H Plus SoC – Amlogic S812 quad core cortex A9r4 @ 2 GHz with Mali-450MP6 GPU System Memory – 2GB DDR3 Storage – 16GB eMMC + SD/MMC card reader Connectivity – 10/100/1000M Ethernet, dual band 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 Video Output – HDMI 1.4 up to 4K @ 30 fps, with CEC support Audio Output / Input – HDMI, 3.5mm stereo jacks for speakers and microphone, optical S/PDIF Video Container Formats – DAT, MPEG, MPE, MPG, TS/TP, VOB, ISO, AVI, MP4, MOV, 3GP, FLV, MKV, M2TS, MTS, M4V, WMV, ASF, RM/RMVB, etc… Video Codecs – MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, VC-1, H.265, etc… Audio Formats – MP2, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, OGA, FLAC, ALAC, APE, AAC, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, and DTS So now is your choice to decide which one you want. Both the WeTek and MINIX are sponsor of KODI. RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - SofaKng - 2015-11-06 This is a bit of a cross-post, but could a HTPC running Linux (or perhaps Windows) support 3D MVC playback? I'm talking about "Full 3D HD" framepacking and not the half-resolution side-by-side videos. HTPC running Windows with an External player (PowerDVD or TotalMediaTheater) RE: Player Choices with Kodi + Full 3D + HD Audio - hdmkv - 2015-11-06 ⇑ This. But, solution feels a bit kludgy. Not that set-top box feel.
