Will have time to test next week, I'm on Windows x64. Looking forward to seeing some of the Skin Converter functionality in ST as well. Thanks for sharing these tools, I find them very helpful!

Hmm, tested it real quick but couldn't get shift enter to work for variables. I get an error that "no node with name XXXX found." I have my skin setup as a project in ST, but likely missed something. Will test more tomorrow and upload the log if needed.

yup, log would be nice.

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - phil65 - 2015-04-29

Should be fixed now, before it was important where the project file was placed, now it shouldnt matter anymore.

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - bossanova808 - 2015-04-30

Now I am getting:

Code:
reloading plugin SublimeKodi.sublimekodi
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\Utilities\Sublime Text\sublime_plugin.py", line 74, in reload_plugin
    m = importlib.import_module(modulename)

  File "sublimekodi in C:\Utilities\Sublime Text\Data\Installed Packages\SublimeKodi.sublime-package", line 12, in <module>
ImportError: cannot import name etree

Sublime 3 3084, Python 2.7.8.10 (ActiveState) - Win 7 64 bit.

Any ideas on that one?

I installed the latest version from github, but still couldn't get shift-enter to work until I saved my ST project/workspace in my skin folder. Everything is working now, thanks!

that has to do with that pre-compiled lxml library, BigNoid solved it by moving the add-on out of the sublime-package container.
Will see if I can find a fix for that.
Your local python version doesnt matter btw, ST3 always uses its own Python 3.3 interpreter.

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - phil65 - 2015-05-01

new stuff:
- tooltip for fonts showing the node from font.xml
- tooltip to show include content (no indenting atm, WIP)
- show constant value in tooltip
- auto-reload skin after saving xml by using JSON-RPC Wink (needs newest script.toolbox version)
- jump-to-label, jump-to-font (shift+enter)

auto-reload skin is awesome. try it.

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - sualfred - 2015-05-01

Maybe I'm blind, but I only get the "Set Kodi Log Syntax" option O_o
I tried to remove and reinstall your addon but the other options are gone. I'm running the latest dev build and also tried to store the project in the skin folder.

Edit:
I don't know if this is maybe the reason for it, but my skin folder is a symlink to a folder outside of the Kodie addon directory

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - phil65 - 2015-05-01

you should at least get some more options in command palette, no matter how and where project file is saved.
What does the console show you? That´s basically my log at the moment.

Console output right after enabling the plugin:

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - phil65 - 2015-05-01

same problem as described above. make sure your system and ST3 is x64, dont use portable version and dont have sublimeKodi installed as a .sublime-pacakge file.

EDIT: it´s probably the last reason (.sublime-package file)

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - sualfred - 2015-05-01

Stupid me, overread that post. Yep, without the sublime package thing everything works again.
Thx.

RE: SublimeKodi: SublimeText3 plugin to help with kodi skinning / scripting - bossanova808 - 2015-05-02

Doesn't it re-create .sublime-package each time? It does here anyway....(I am using portable)
