Helix - Gotham: Disable shade video on pause &... - Typhoid Mary - 2015-03-18
Looking around in some of the xmls on where the shade tv screen on pause is located, cant find it.
I want to remove it or rem it out.
Also looking for a way to add a short timer (5sec) to the OSD (playback controls and info bar ) popping up on the bottom.
Basically I want to pause the video with nothing shading the screen or popping up for a few seconds so I can point out something to my girlfriend.

The dim on paused is getting removed
thought I had a setting to Hide the OSD buttons on pause, but can't seem to find it 
In a couple of days the "Development" version in the repo will be worth using.

Is there anyway I can remove it? Im using the older helix for Gotham currently and wont be upgrading unless I get a new machine or another apple tv1 (crystalbuntu) to feck with. Thanks. If you can just point in the general direction I'll screw about till it works
