Not sure if this is a Kodi thing or Addon, but I am on XBMC Frodo and Aeon MQ 5 skin.
Is there a way I can add a "Spotify" right on the main menu and have it either launch the website or the installed app on my computer?

You should be able to add this to main menu through the custom menu and choose addon as the type.
