The Celeron is absolutely sufficient if you don't need 4K HEVC. RE: Chameleon or chromebox for kodi - wrxtasy - 2015-03-26 No. OpenElec is a lightweight Linux distribution and runs happily on a 512MB RPi. Just get the standard 2GB one. There will be no performance difference with extra RAM for just running OpenElec / Kodi and streaming.
