Since I'm using ARGUS TV, I was referring to the related guide you posted. In that one, http and https were configured to be uesed with LAV Filters. I discovered than the post related to Next PVR where the related filters are used for http and https. Here you are referring to File Source (URL).

My question is: which are the best filters that can be used for http and https?

Thanks in advance for any clarification.

For NextPVR http url, NextPVR filters must be used.
For generic http and https, you can use File Source (URL) or LAV Filters, I don't think that there is a difference.

If the GUI is breaking 3D playback, I would try using MPC-HC instead. MPC-HC has ongoing development support and DSPlayer does not.
To do this, you must create the following file:
...
For this to function, you must add "3D" to the filename of each 3D video.
...
MPC-HC set up is covered here: 1843510 (post).

Thank you for the tip, Warner.
I already tried that before, from Kodis side it works as expected, but I don't get the needed SBS output from MPC-HC (that I need for my beamer), only 2D output, any tipps there?
Besides DSPlayer, so far I only found Stereoscopic Player delivering SBS output as needed.

But I managed to work around the GUI problem by modifying it. I reduced the VideoOSD to almost nothing and I just leave the OSD on during playback by pressing m. It works Laugh
Though I would really like to understand how to make it work with MPC-HC for example.

I read that some 3D output modes are not working with the current version of madVR. Wait for the next development version and see if that helps anything.

Wow guys, hats off to you for the most uselessly smartass posts in this whole thread.

I have been nothing but thankful to aracnoz, tiben20, madshi, wanilton, nevcariel, everybody involved in making DSPlayer so far. I was just normally discussing, I wasn't attacking anybody.

What the heck do you want from me? I have explicitly stated, multiple times in this thread and others, that I am no coder. Should this stop me from asking questions in a respectful way? I really don't think so.

Thank you Roma for your suggestion. I'll definitely try it.

Don't take things to heart mate its the internet. Peace out Dek.

And i agree Roma has added great support for PVR to a great build of Kodi works flawless.

OK. Bluntly I solved my problem with a clean install Kodi DSPlayer, Skins and addons , solved the problem Focus It is notified when starting Kodi (ExtendedInfo Script Error) please , Somebody with greater competence can check the File Log , and understand where the notification comes (Extended Info Script Error)
Thanks.

Try another skin and see if the error is still present. It is likely the skin producing this error.

I tried it with different skin, the problem persists ...

RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - gotham_x - 2016-03-13

OK. I solved with new registration for TMDb and entered my credentials in extendedinfo settings , NOT I was unaware of this thing , and I find , and I find it strange this.

RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Talguy - 2016-03-13

Alright. I just updated my media config so that it has one rule. I moved my filename rule into the "extra" that if the filename meets my pattern it'll execute the extra filters also. Sadly this has not solved my issue.

Also I noticed that if I have change refresh rate enabled in Kodi. It forces SVP to whatever the refresh rate is. Is there a way I can set it up so that if i can get my media rules work and I play a video with a specific tag which enables SVP it forces Kodi to 60Hz regardless of the framerate of the source and all other videos would change the refresh rate to their framerate?

No, you can't override automatic refresh rate switching for specific rules unless you use DVDPlayer as a second player. Refresh rate switching applies to each player independently.

I don't have enough experience with SVP to understand why it starts with every rule. I would suggest abandoning SVP and using smooth motion in madVR instead. Or completely eliminate frame interpolation and stick with refresh rate matching, which is actually considered the correct way to playback a video. If you wanted to use smooth motion, you could make a madVR profile rule for the filename "Animation," similar to how it is done in Kodi.

Thanks Warner306 , very kind for your interest !
not me say I was hasty , for necessity to correct bug ExtendedInfo , I had to make a recording at TMDb , against my will , it seems much a forcing.
I find it strange that only I lament this problem.

(2016-03-09, 20:27)ashlar Wrote: wanilton, would you be available to do some small modifications to the code and then have test builds? I ask because DSPlayer selects for internet streams LAV Splitter, by default and with no way of overriding it. I think it's a simple change.

You can override it by using url="true" in mediasconfig.xml, like it's done in NextPVR mediasconfig rules.
For example:

mediasconfig.xml:
Code:
<rule protocols="https|http" url="false">
   <splitter filter="lavsplitter" />
   <video filter="lavvideo" />
   <audio filter="lavaudio" />
</rule>
<rule url="true" protocols="https|http">
   <source filter="urlfilesource" />
</rule>

filtersconfig.xml:
Code:
<filter name="urlfilesource" type="source">
   <guid>{E436EBB6-524F-11CE-9F53-0020AF0BA770}</guid>
   <issplitter>false</issplitter>
   <osdname>File Source (URL)</osdname>
</filter>
Thanks Roma, I tested this and it works. Warner306, I might have missed this in your guide, but it seems undocumented. In case I missed it, sorry.
