Well, that's a point of view. Another is, ppl do not want to lose Kodi (and its pretty GUI) while being able to use directshow filters.

To Warner306, raising money would not go anywhere? I don't know, it really would depend on the amount of money I think. Personally I'd be down for 100 $/€, I don't know about anybody else, obviously. If we managed to get 20-30 people interested and willing to donate, it could lead to some interesting proposal. Clearly one needs to already have a passion for developing and/or Kodi but still, it would be an incentive.

To tiben20 I can only express gratitude for everything he's done. Let's not forget that his input/inspiration was instrumental in Nevacariel's LAV Filters too.
