Upload your crashlog (or use the standalone instructions if the crash occurs at startup). I don't know how many times I've asked you for this already - if I have to ask again I'll just put you on my "ignore" list. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Uukrul - 2015-05-10 I compiled a win32 build with PR7069 and, at least with pvr.dvbviewer, pvr.demo and pvr.vuplus, I got unresolved external symbols errors. They all use tinyxml so you should not include PR7069 until it is fixed. I had been using PR7072 prior to PR7069 so it's most likely just a conflict between the latest PVR source code and the recent infrastructure/build changes over the last week (kodi-platform, libplatform, libcec etc.) - there are obviously one or two wrinkles that still need to be worked out. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - mcelliott - 2015-05-10 I installed the 8th May build, and it turned off my MediaPortal TV plugin. Sorry, no logs, but this is the first build I have installed that did this. Re-enabled the plugin, rebooted and all is fine. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Eisi2005 - 2015-05-10 Hi sorry for my noob questions but this is my first try with a raspberry. I bought an rasp for mvc 3D. But the video will only play in normal format. I first install an standard openelec version, after this i copy from milhouse latest version the 4 files from target dir to update dir and reboot the rasp. In the settings is mvc and dts-hd enabled. but both things didnt work. Must i do anything more to enable this functions ? The test file was created with Sammy 1 and makemkv. The filename is called Sammys.3D.MVC.mkv Thanks for an answer. Sorry, no logs, but this is the first build I have installed that did this. Yes, a recent PR now disables PVR add-ons by default. My guess is that pre-installed addons were being shown as enabled but were not actually marked as either enabled or disabled in the add-on database, an ambiguity the PR resolves by marking the add-on as disabled in the database. Consequently you may need to re-enable your PVR add-on, but you should only need to do this once. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - MrNice - 2015-05-10 Regarding the CEC libCEC bug "CEC not detected, disable?" still present after boot See #153 & #154 and GitHub I don't know exactly what does this new feature internally but to avoid useless work I want to expose my use case: I have a "IR controlled 4 sockets" where I connect my RPi supply, AVR, monitor and USB hub supply. To start, with the remote I switch on the sockets. RPi starts, AVR and monitor go in sleep mode. Then RPi switch on AVR through CEC. To stop, RPi shuts down and send sleep to AVR through CEC. Then after 1 mn controlled socket switch off. So I need CEC enabled but I don't have CEC TV. I will answer NO to the question and if I understand right I still will have the log spam. Hope this will help. Maybe you could forward this use case to the developer. Kodi is crashing. You'll have a crashlog. Upload it. If you don't upload a crashlog, don't expect a fix. Edit: This is the reason for the crash with audiodecoder.sidplay: Code: /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin: symbol lookup error: /storage/.kodi/temp/audiodecoder.sidplay-001.so: undefined symbol: _ZN7SidTuneC1EPKhj Ho hum. Correct, that is the purpose of this thread, however if you've been following along in this thread you should know by now that when dealing with a Kodi crash the minimum required information is a crashlog (or standalone console message) as without this information the report is of no value to anyone. If you don't agree that there is an onus on you to provide useful information when reporting a problem then you probably shouldn't be in this thread or using test builds. To be clear - you mean OpenELEC on RPi, or do you mean it also happens with OSMC, XBian, Raspbian etc.? What x86 build are you comparing this to? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Milhouse - 2015-05-11 New OpenELEC Isengard build #0510: RPi / RPi2 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of OpenELEC master (d30d87f0, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (701c0e48, changelog) with the following modifications:
