No TV Category showing - DerZ - 2015-04-24
Hey folks,
I have done a setup of Kodi 14.2 Helix on one of my desktop computers and had very little issues. Now I am trying to do the same thing on my laptop which is much faster with 6x the memory, however I can not seem to get the TV icon to appear despite multiple restarts and enabling/disabling of the pvr simple client as well as the live tv option. I have all of the same settings on my desktop and it has no issues starting up and displaying the TV option properly.
The only way in which I have been successful to view any streams via a list is using a separate add-on designed to switch between different lists of streams which is done through the video add-on and does not require the TV option to appear. I really nee to figure this out as it is driving me up the wall, it makes no sense why 2 systems with exact same install and settings that one will not load the live tv / simple pvr properly. I have tried reinstaling kodi as well but come back to the same problem.
Any Ideas anyone ?

after I spent 2 hours playing around i figure out a way
1- change the skin on your kodi I got live tv on home menu use (Hybrid Development) skin
2- I found thread on live pvr forums http://xbmcm3u.com/index.php/topic,134.0.html
you have to register download the zip file in thread you going to use different pvr service as the video shows

use the mac number on the video it work for me
