Problem creating M3U when one channel has more than one source. - ellite - 2015-04-30

Good evening.
I have been working with this plugin and generating m3u playlists for a long time, but now I am stuck in a problem.
Some channels, give me 2 different URLs, and only one is on at each time.
My question is:
- Can I put it on the m3u in a way that the plugin will try one URL, and if it fails it would automatically try the second and only if that one is also not working, then it timeout?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

The same question was asked in Russian XBMC forum two weeks ago. Question: http://xbmc.ru/forum/showpost.php?p=76888&postcount=1261 Answer: http://xbmc.ru/forum/showpost.php?p=76964&postcount=1264
nightik, the author of this plugin, said – it is impossible. It was explained 1001 times, that this plugin doesn't play anything, it only gives a http or udp link to XBMC/Kodi. And the bond between IPTV plugin and Kodi is one-directional. So if some link at the current time is not working after you press the play button, the Kodi does not give back this information to the IPTV plugin.

Oh, thanks.
Good to know. So there is nothing to be done on the plugin, but only on Kodi itself.

I have read somewhere about Playlists inside the playlist (The m3u calling another m3u)... It works, but it might be possible that for all channels the 1st stream is available at the moment, and that is why it is workig.
I'll have to test it better.
