I'm not sure I get what you mean? Would you like a new API method that filters by type?
I don't think that's possible to define what type is returned as it can be up to 4 different types currently
It should be easy to check if strLogoWide is available as it will not be NULL
Maybe i'm not getting what your asking?

Don't worry about duplicates, just make sure they have original naming.
Add the package name at the top in the next spare column, then list all the channels available below it.
I've already done the UK's Virgin Media and Youview TV packages
Hi I added the German free TV Channel from Asta 19,2. Would be cool if anyone can check the channels I added to the spreadsheet.

The more I delve deeper into the db, the more concerned i'm getting... I don't' think the way things are being organized will work out for developers.
Here is an example... I want a "Fox" logo, not a "Fox 5" or a "Fox Asia" but a "Fox" logo... since we are filtering by region "United States"...
You get a list of multiple fox's, "Fox 8", "Fox 5" for example... but I just want a standard "Fox" logo...
I would think if you wanted regional logos for the channels you would have opted for call letters, ie "Fox 5" would be "WNYW"...
So if I wanted the logo for "Fox" in NY I could search "WNYW"...
Trying to get a logo for the many "BBC" channels available that start with "BBC..." is a nightmare. Dozens of false positives for a match to "BBC".
This is just constructive criticisms, as I'm very appreciative of the work that's going into this... but retrieving usable data from this db is at the heart of this project.

@Lunatixz don't worry about the API search accuracy, I just need to import the cable and terrestrial channels and then I will work on accuracy.
The search API matches by name and then sorts by length of the string, so as soon as we get all the channels in such as "BBC ONE" it should work again.

Unfortunately I cannot do your API request as currently the API just outputs the database structure as JSON.

About every 3-4 months there's major maintenance on the cable.
