Adding forced subtitles over full hearing impaired subtitles. - Gingerbread Man - 2015-06-21

I've a few movies which don't have the forced subtitles. How do I enable or find the forced subtitles (e.g. English movie with some foreign language scenes) for these movies and not subtitles for the whole movie (e.g. hard of hearing)?

I've just come across Subdownloader, but I'm not sure from a quick play if this is just finding subtitles for people hard of hearing as it were. These I don't need!

Is it best to download a program and run my database through it, or is it best to use a subtitle add on for Kodi which can differentiate between forced subtitles and full subtitles?

Thanks.

I'm not sure that you can. I get the impression from handling my set-top box that thes 'subtitles' are video overlays as part of the broadcast video signal.

Use the subtitle (wiki) download feature and look for subtitles labeled "forced". It's just a matter of what subs people have uploaded to the sub provider websites.
