kodi music naming convention - Vergil2501 - 2015-06-24

So I'm looking to add my music library to Kodi, though I am utterly confused as how the naming convention works for music files (and how to alter the advancedsettings.xml file).

I want to keep my audio as follows:
Code:
Artist > Year Released Album Name > Title Number. Track Name
Example: Music > Amy Winehouse > 2006 Back to Black > 02. You Know I'm No Good.mp3

I want to keep it that way so that foobar 2000 loads the albums in the correct order.

Kodi doesn't actually have a naming convention for music, as it pulls all the data from embedded tags. The only time naming becomes important is if you have supplemental information, like NFO files or artwork.

And even then Kodi is looking for specific file names artist.nfo, album.nfo, folder.jpg, and fanart.jpg.
