RE: ESPN 3 - awaters1 - 2016-06-17 @GriffeyJuni0r The error is due to an issue with FFMPEG 17:17:28 T:4704 ERROR: ffmpeg[1260]: [tls] An illegal TLS extension was received. Some channels use http://prod-freewheel.espn.go.com for certain shows which doesn't work on windows with kodi. RE: ESPN 3 - User 272336 - 2016-06-17 I can no longer watch live TV on any of the premiums channels either. Could yesterday. No changes from yesterday on my system, did not install anything. Deleting the plugin , cookies file and re-authenticating didn't help this time. All I am getting from the log is unsupported protocol(plugin). RE: ESPN 3 - awaters1 - 2016-06-17 Try the develop branch at (https://github.com/awaters1/plugin.video.espn_3/tree/develop) and post a log if it still happens. That is what I am using. Log is here. The log reflects a successful replay of a Euro2016 game and failed attempts at starting live content. RE: ESPN 3 - awaters1 - 2016-06-17 Also, I made a repository for the addon to make it easier to update. I'm not sure if it was created properly though, here is the zip file https://github.com/awaters1/repo.awaters1/blob/master/repository.awaters1.zip RE: ESPN 3 - User 272336 - 2016-06-17 (2016-06-17, 03:25)awaters1 Wrote: Also, I made a repository for the addon to make it easier to update. RE: ESPN 3 - siuside - 2016-06-17 We are SOL again on windows due to the new domains espn is using for live content as @awaters1 pointed out. (Illegal tls extension). I ran into this yesterday and unfortunately this is the old problem. The uplynk premiums are still working fine (sec/longhorn/espn3 etc) RE: ESPN 3 - User 272336 - 2016-06-17 @siuside, Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that. RE: ESPN 3 - awaters1 - 2016-06-17 @OTinley: can you attach the log when it failed? It worked on my machine so I'm not sure what the issue is with installing the repository. @siuside: The main ESPN1 channel does work sometimes, I think the issue may be that live sports use uplynk and then perhaps the documentaries/talk shows use prod-freewheel? When I get my windows vm going I'll check if kodi 17 fixes the illegal TLS issue. RE: ESPN 3 - User 272336 - 2016-06-17 @awaters1, I used the https://github.com/awaters1/repo.awaters1/blob/master/repository.awaters1.zip link you gave me, but could not download from there, went a level higher https://github.com/awaters1/repo.awaters1 and could dowload the zip file but it contained everything, including several versions of zipped files. RE: ESPN 3 - siuside - 2016-06-17 Correct link to his repo is https://github.com/awaters1/repo.awaters1/blob/master/repository.awaters1.zip?raw=true RE: ESPN 3 - User 272336 - 2016-06-17 @siuside Repo zip file installed perfectly and the update was successful as well. RE: ESPN 3 - awaters1 - 2016-06-17 I found a platform that used uplynk so version 2.9.2 in the repository and the latest from develop should work correctly now. I want to work on getting this into the official repository in time for 17.x so I appreciate the testing. If you experience issues/have suggestions feel free to post them on github https://github.com/awaters1/plugin.video.espn_3/issues RE: ESPN 3 - User 272336 - 2016-06-17 @waters1 I just applied the update you uploaded to the repo and everything works again so another +1 to your reputation and another thank you from me! RE: ESPN 3 - siuside - 2016-06-17 @otinley What are you thoughts about the home menu layout? |
