So far not reproducible. I would be very interested in a sample file that shows the problem.

I can do that! How do I do that though? It's a ~30gb .iso, although the problem manifests itself right at the beginning. Is it possible to trim that file down?

It's a lot easier to trim the mkv than the iso. Are you on windows or linux?

In kodi, if you choose context menu on the iso file and then "browse into" and go to BDMV/STREAM/SSIF/ are there multiple .ssif files? Do any of the smaller ones have the playback problems?

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - steve1977 - 2015-11-01

I am using #1031 (Rpi2) and am having some playback issues, which I have not experienced before. I get occasional stutter and also occasionally audio disappears. Both is new with this built for me. A bit hard to reproduce as it only happens occasinoally and not at the same points / videos. Any idea how I can best help trouble-shoot or already known issue anyways?

Are you sure that #1030 doesn't have this issue?

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - steve1977 - 2015-11-01

Never tried #1030. Not sure what is the latest one I have tried, but probably around two weeks ago?

Do I read your reply right that this is a known issue?

No it is not a known issue. As you said you had new issues with #1031 then the obvious question is which build introduced the problem.
If you can identify the first build with the problem, then we can look through the changes and hopefully pinpoint what caused it.

(2015-10-31, 23:06)Milhouse Wrote: Yes, confirmed. #1030 is not playing 3D ISO in 3D (not offered the playback mode menu), but #1029 is playing them normally, offering the menu with choices of "Preferred mode", Monoscopic / 2D" etc.

Ah - there were a couple of upstream (fernetmenta branch) changes that meant a commit I had wasn't required, and then was required. I'll add it back in.
Currently it is only the automatic detection of 3D in ISO that is broken. Using the filename tags should still work. Will be fixed for tonight's build.

I've found two 3D films that exibit this behavior. I don't think it's seamless related, since my other working .iso's have similar directory structures.

*Edit: I tried to send a PM with sample link but I don't have permission to.

I can confirm this issue: Getting distrortion and "green blocks" on some 3D films (Avatar, Spiderman) when using ISOs. WIth ISOs converted to MKVs everythings playing fine. Did also try it with latest #1101 release. The distortion and "green blocks" always appear at the same positions.

I now have a sample with artefacts (thanks jompjomp), so hopefully there will be a solution to this soon.

Yeah, Avatar .iso does it here as well. Beauty and the Beast is on the list too. I'm trying to figure out what the commonality is with these discs.

Fingers crossed, thanks.

Hi Milhouse and PopCornMixi ;-)

I've her with the MTV.de-Addon some Buffering ( in german: Zwischenspeicher) problems with this new beta build #1101 on my RPi2.
Video is stuttering, 50% on the MTV list (top100 Video charts) is not playable.

I think the old problem is a "Déjà-vu" ?

Builds bevor no Probs.
