RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - Tsyko - 2015-12-01 I searched the thread for HDMI Passthrough and tried some of the fixes but still experiencing the same problems. When I run the Public 6.0.0 on the RPI2 using my Yamaha amp. The amp says DTS or Dolby Digital with passthrough enabled. When I run the Chris Swan devel builds I run Jarvis and the amp behaves the same. On the millhouse builds even with Passthrough enabled the amp says PCM. Am I doing something wrong with my setup? Here is the debug log http://sprunge.us/WPMe I tried with the movie Trainwreck Thanks for the help in advance RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - Milhouse - 2015-12-01 @bill_orange: Thanks, have added a comment on PR:4442 - let's see what happens... With VideoPlayer you need to disable "sync playback to display" if you want passthrough. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - Milhouse - 2015-12-01 New OpenELEC Jarvis build #1130: RPi / RPi2 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of OpenELEC master (c5875ae6, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (558a8f18, changelog) with the following modifications:

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - doveman2 - 2015-12-01 Had an issue just now with #1128 when I tried to play a file an mkv. It got stuck on the busy spinner for about a minute before it eventually gave up and said it couldn't play the file. I then tested by playing a smaller mp4 version of the same episode and then the mkv again, both of which worked fine this time. The log shows I pressed Select at 01:02:18 and the error message came up at 01:03:40 http://xbmclogs.com/p60uhwfjc Incidentally, I keep the 1280x720 versions in the series folder and smaller versions in a sub-folder "Spare" to put on portable devices or share with friends who don't much care about quality but Kodi shows both, so I have two copies of each episode listed and no idea which is which. Is there a way to stop Kodi scanning past the first folder (i.e. Media/Videos/Series/x/) to avoid this? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - doveman2 - 2015-12-01 (2015-11-29, 15:24)Milhouse Wrote: Just unzip vdr-addon manually at the command line into /storage/.kodi/addons. If you try installing from inside Kodi, Kodi will validate against online dependencies (which are out of date) rather than against the bundled (and up-to-date) pvr.vdr.vnsi client. Thanks, that was an easy workaround. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - doveman2 - 2015-12-01 (2015-11-29, 12:06)doveman2 Wrote: Bit of a weird one this. My brother reports that on his RPi2 (#1015) Tvheadend keeps randomly uninstalling itself (he says he sees a message popup that it's been uninstalled) and he has to reinstall it to get it working again. Bit more information from my brother. He says the message he sees is "'successfully removed device", so it doesn't actually sound like Tvheadend is being uninstalled. It may be just a coincidence that he sees this and finds TVh isn't working until he re-installs it and maybe he's running into the same problem as I have with the tuner randomly disappearing, at least as far as TVh is concerned. Any ideas what that message might be about though? I searched the log and the only mention of 'removed' I found was near the end where it says 'UDev: Removed (null)'. I'll try updating him to #1128, the same as I'm on now, to see if that improves things for him anyway.
