The latest Kodi 17 test build is pretty good. These Kodi 16 test builds are no longer maintained. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - nb2a - 2016-02-14 Can you please advise how your latest build gets installed in a PI2 with open elec please to get HD home to use pvr please? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - nola mike - 2016-02-14 Has anyone managed to get dolby digital sound on this build? On an Rpi2. It works on the official openelec (15.0) build. Using the exact same settings. Passthrough or not doesn't matter. The audio dsp setting is new, but the system crashes when I try to enable it. Apparently there's a plugin that I can't find. Not sure if that's necessary or not. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - robello84 - 2016-02-17 Hi milhouse, i follow you from kodi 15 testbuilds. I have one question. I try many of your testbuilds and this one #1202b, 03-Dec-2015: RPi / RPi2 it's perfect for channel zapping in mpegts mode instead of hls. You use kodi beta 3 and pvr iptvsimpleclient 1.12.6. i try to compile from source with the same package but when i try pvr, not work. You know why not work? Thank you RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - Milhouse - 2016-02-17 Not really, not without more information - does it fail to compile, or compiles but fails to run? Any particular reason why you're trying to build this code? If there's a problem with channel zapping in new Kodi 17 builds you'd be better off fixing the issue there, not trying to build this old version. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - robello84 - 2016-02-17 Ok try with kodi 17 Thank you (2016-02-17, 14:12)Milhouse Wrote: Not really, not without more information - does it fail to compile, or compiles but fails to run? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - whiffyfuzzball - 2016-02-19 To save anyone else looking back pages for the last Kodi 16 test build, it's here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=231092&pid=2178552#pid2178552 RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - mr.ammy - 2016-02-20 OpenELEC provides builds for many different types of hardware; please read below carefully to select the correct one. Builds are provided in two formats: Manual update files for existing installations (filename ends in .tar) USB installer diskimage files (filename ends in .img.gz) Installer .img files are hard-disk images not CD-Rom (ISO) disc images. You cannot create bootable CDs from them. bikram singh majthia RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - DTR81 - 2016-02-20 Guys how can i disable the Kodi startup intro ? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - Milhouse - 2016-02-21 To disable the kodi splash video: Code: touch /storage/.config/splash.disable To disable the kodi splash image, add the following to advancedsettings.xml: Code: <splash>false</splash> RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - redec - 2016-02-22 Can someone tell me, can the latest Jarvis build be installed on openelec v5.0.8?...or must I be running v6 to be able to update to jarvis? No. (2016-02-22, 00:39)redec Wrote: ...or must I be running v6 to be able to update to jarvis? The version of Kodi used by OpenELEC cannot be changed without upgrading/downgrading the whole of OpenELEC. OpenELEC 5 is based on Helix (Kodi 14). OpenELEC 6 is based on Isengard (Kodi 15). You'll need to wait for OpenELEC 7 as this will be based on Jarvis (Kodi 16). Oh ok I see, thanks for the reply. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 16.0) - Deano316 - 2016-02-22 I currently run a Pi 2 on OpenELEC 6 using the stable release (15.2), currently I get 7.1 TrueHD through PCM but only DTS 5.1. Also I don't have 3D isos displaying correctly. Can anyone confirm whether these are working on the latest nightly? Also, judging by the previous two posts am I right that I can't use these test builds until the next release of OpenELEC? |
