It does not seem to be an answer to me RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - fritsch - 2016-02-08 Nope - the fix I posted yesterday fixes something else, that is meant with that sentence. RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - incubus - 2016-02-08 Ah ok ! RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - eugene2878 - 2016-02-09 (2016-02-06, 14:41)fritsch Wrote: Nope, it does not have it. The newest kernel you can always find for manual installation on http://fritsch.fruehberger.net/kernel/ Where about linux header all? RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - fritsch - 2016-02-09 Not needed. Those kernels are build for 64 bit only. RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - scf2k - 2016-02-09 Does anyone here use ps3 BD remote? It seems to be unstable for me and I don't know where actual problem is. Remote itself, OE 7 or OE in general. RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - fritsch - 2016-02-09 (2016-02-09, 15:19)scf2k Wrote: Does anyone here use ps3 BD remote? RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - smitopher - 2016-02-09 Following up. Do you need a better log? After a commercial skip occurs, stopping and restarting where where I left of continues normal playback. Fritsh, Are you certain that this does not affect Braswell? I saw the kernel bugreport and read through the whole thing and also read every post on this board and a couple other boards on this bug and I can only find 1 guy saying he saw it on Braswell and you saying it's not on braswell. I have an Asrock Beebox n3000 and am seeing a very similar complete system freeze at random times. I originally thought it was heat related but have since replaced my 2.5in SSH with an msata drive because asrock recommended not running the n3000 with a 2.5 in drive for heat related reasons. That seemed to fix random reboots (which were probably heat related) but what I am left with now is just freezes periodically. I have been running a watch cputtemp and gputemp and have only caught one freeze that occurred while I was moving around in the GUI. The CPU temp was high but I have been running 5-7C above that for 12+ hours (video on repeat/loop) since with no freezes. The freeze seem so random, like watching a movie and messing around in the GUI with no rhyme or reason. Is there any way to change the cstate in openelec? I think I can change it in the bios but was hoping to have a more reproducible situation to test but so far that has eluded me. If it is heat related I'll step up to the n3150 with a fan but dont want to spend the money if it's this kernel bug. RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - gurabli - 2016-02-12 Almost two days and no new reply? Does this mean that everybody is fully satisfied with the current stage of VAAPI EGL implementation (I am) Fritsch, I hope you wont't abandon this (and further Linux) project(s) for Android RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - smitopher - 2016-02-14 (2016-02-09, 22:29)smitopher Wrote: Following up. Maybe a download/connection errror, or perhaps try updating your repos prior to install? RE: New Era: VAAPI with EGL interoperation - AndreaSpooky - 2016-02-15 hi, after a long time I didn't read this thread I decided to install "OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0.198-Intel_EGL.tar" over my plain 6.0.1 (taken from the main openelec site) and all seems to go fine: I mostly updated to have HEVC acceleration on my BeeBox. One thing: memory occupation goes waaaaay up after a few videos watched (over 60% on my 4gb total). Is that normal? |
