I'm starting to develop an app based on this database and I have a few questions.
Which backend are you using?
What are your throttling limits and rates on the API?
Would it be possible to get an API please?

Hi there.
I made an app using this API. It is made with Ionic and is available for Android: Cocktail Companion.
It is a great API that is easy to use and has a lot of good functionality.

Correct.
As a low post member, you don't have full function applied to your account yet. There is a post count and membership age that needs to be met before all functions of your account are activated. The membership age has been met.

Thanks Kevin, replied. I've also added a contact page to the site as i'm getting so many API requests now.
Some site news, I have removed a large number of cocktails with no images and duplicates. I still have a backup of them if people want to help with the images.
Also worked my way through the IBA cocktail list to make sure we have all the classics.

The API has a new field for the category of IBA collection the cocktail falls in.
Future plans include some advanced ingredient filtering (as above) and the addition of youtube video links

There seems to be a bug when trying to access ingredients with special characters in their name. For example:
