Enabling subtitles by default - loggin - 2015-08-31
This appears to have been broken for several versions but as I was on beta's I didn't bother to flag this, however I'm now 15.1 which is the current release version and I still can't enable subtitles and set that as default for all videos.

You can do it via the video OSD...

Look at point 3 "3 OSD audio and subtitle settings"
Do your settings and then hit "Set as default for all videos "

I went digging around and found this (../userdata/guisettings.xml) which appears that the default setting is true, will give you full log shortly
